It's funny that with heavy hitters like Odin and Bahamut the Chocobo and Moogle summon scared me the most. 7:00 "What's the canary gonna do? lay and eg- OH MY GOD!!" I had a flashback of chicken attacks from legend of Zelda

Man I knew Ifrit, Shiva, Ramuh, and Leviathan would be amazing like in the previous game. But Titan, Alexander, Odin, Kujata, Phoenix, Gilgamesh, and Bahamut Arisen are you F****** kidding me!? Holy cow! Once again Sykioh, you have showed off your brilliance and expertise of certain details that others have missed. What do you plan to do for the next video? I’m as curious as a cat. I know the video wasn’t much but the choice of music and scenery is what makes it better for me
Now, all that is left is Neo Bahamut, Bahamut Zero, Typhoon, and Knights of the Round

i watched this to see what the summons would look like compared to their designs in ff16 and saw how their moves have the same names as the moves that you can unlock when you absorb their powers in ff16 which they didn’t have to do so in ff16 and could’ve named them something different but it’s nice that they used the same names. also it gave me a look into on what leviathan would have looked like in ff16 since it’s hinted that leviathan (both eikon and dominant) were lost along side its mother crystal long before the game starts. also, it was surprising to see that odin has an almost completely opposite color scheme compared the one he has in ff16.
Those are their iconic moves through the entire series, it would've been pretentious to give them new names.
That's Odins standard colour scheme, FFXVI gave him dark colours to reflect on the "Eikon of Darkness" aesthetik.
And good news for you: Leviathan is coming for the second DLC of FFXVI. Can't wait to see it!
@@solracstormhunter3023Leviathan also looks to be white with hints of maroon towards her mouth and spine fins. Curious to see her moves. And if it will top ff15 Leviathan.
@@Chippy247 I've been thinking about what classes would the popular Eikons have, if they had human shape and in Leviathan's case, I imagined it to take the Samurai class.
A tall, blue-haired female Ronin with Tifa-coloured/red-eyes, Koi-orange/red Hakama and a version of Masamune in a blue-scaled sheath.
It may be surprising for this Gen but
Seeing the summons thru the game was one of eye candy motivations to even play thru the game !
When either one of the party members summons Ifrit, they could have said this line, “Come to me, Ifrit!”
Wish they had the same summons from ff7 with the and kind of incoming effects

It is. I think it’s the new name for Neo Bahamut from the original version. Because his signature move is Gigaflare.

I can't wait for part 3 so I o can see if they add hades and definitely knights of the round. You summon king Arthur with his light sword skills then for the finish he summons his knights that each atk with a different weapon. Not too crazy long though like the original.

@@Miguelus well I understand that Bahamut evolve into Arisen/Neo Bahamut so it's acceptable I guess but those three or two are still part of Gag Summon similar to Crisis Core
First two were never in the game.

That was just one of the three forms of Bahamut. Bahamut Arisen is just the second one. Bahamut Zero is the last one (But that one will be in the next game)
I hope they add these summons to future expansions for ff16

You have to have a save file from the Remake dlc. If you do, you'll start the game with him.

Gilgamesh's new six-arms form, seems like the closest thing to Asura's reappearance nowdays. 😅
the first one debuted in 3 as a boss, being a summon only in 11, 15, and an Eikon in 14, with 16 being a Summoned Beast and a Move set
The 2nd and 3rd debuted in 8, with Quetzacoatl not making an apparition as a Summon ever since 8.....except in 14 as a Raid Boss
