White sand beaches are in Guimaras Island, 20 minutes away by fastcraft boat. Boracay is a pleasant 5-hour air-conditioned bus from ILOILO. Most Bike-Friendly City in the Philippines, too. Iloilo has got everything you would ever need to continue living the convenient western way of life that you have been comfortable with in your country. If you are a fitness enthusiast, Iloilo is your happy place. It is fit the best well-maintained parks, plazas, public flower gardens, and extensive riverside and creekside Esplanades with endless jogging and strolling paths, flowerbeds, fragrant flowering trees, royal palm trees, shrubbery, colorful bougainvilleas, and fragrant vines in trellises. Museums, art galleries, outdoor murals. Food is superb ILOILO CITY is the UNESCO CREATIVE CITY OF GASTRONOMY IN THE PHILIPPINES.

I've watched someone from the US being interviewed and he said that he is homeless in the US because his pension can't afford the rent there, while here, he can have semi furnished 1 room apartment for $200. So he lives decently here. Not extravagant but he is living and not just surviving.
If you are local, life there is hard, a Macdonald combo here in the u.s is equivalent of 1 day salary of a minimum wage earner in the Philippines , thats the reality in the Philippines
I just hope these people moving in respect the country, the locals and their culture. And that they don’t take away the business opportunities of the locals (as some areas have had that happen).

Where the so called cheap amenities are cheap enough for the dollars to come in but astronomically expensive for the ordinary Juan Dela Cruz (Filipino) to come anywhere near. Sadly, even the builders (masons and carpenters) who once built and tirelessly labored for those establishments are not allowed or able to enjoy the benefits of the work of their hands 🥺😭
Just a reminder why things are cheap compared to the US is because of the unequal exchange rate. If you're earning a western income, even at minimum wage, you're pretty much set for life here. The same cannot be said for ordinary Filipino workers. We wish to have the same western income as you guys, but that would upset this delicate economy and cause prices to rise up quickly (as the last price hike wasn't bad enough)
I went to college in the philippines for 2 years back in the late 90s, such a great experieince. My college cerdits did tranfered to America University. Took all my electives and as fulltime student back then i paid $130 for the semester lol 😅 For the most part spent many days at my friends beach house and partied 😊 Rent was super cheap about $50 a month, and at that time had maid for $45 a month lol
Yeah but you also need to remember the drawbacks, which are that you don't really have access to any first world amenities not in a direct way at least. So it's about gauging and measuring based on your own personal way of life and preferences

The big key is finding a remote job that will let you do this because if not well it's just a relatively inexpensive vacation to a nice part of the world. I personally want to move to either Vietnam or Thailand as a home base and bounce around until I decide to move back to the States but likely to build a home in Florida since the real money is made in the United States.

Surprisingly Philippines have great doctors. They are known for their nurses working overseas. Didn’t know they have great doctors as well! If you’re an American vet and live in Manila you don’t need their doctors you can visit the VA. That was the selling point for my cousin to move to the Philippines. Happy to have family that’s not Filipino with me in the Philippines.
I think it is hilarious how foreigners do not really say they can live in the Philippines in very affordable circumstances because of American currency but yet want to make comparisons?
Better save up all that money for when you get seriously ill. Healthcare is on a level similar to the US over there. I have several aunts, uncles and cousins with serious medical conditions (cancers, diabetes, liver transplant) and the amount of money they have to pay for treatment is outrageous. We also have friends who spend the winter months back in the Philippines and come back to Germany over the summer to get their medical treatments and checkups.
Cause you can outsource your work for American standard rates, and be rich in the Philippines. Taken advantage of the locals due to the fact that it's an American state technically
Isn't it something that the native Philippinos commenting here are saying "thank you for coming to the Philippines and keeping our economy good!" While natives of other countries such as Mexico are saying "Don't come! Stay where you are!" Phillipino people are truly kind people! Thank you for your kindness to a hurting humanity.
Great people live there. Have six military brothers who all retired early and live there with their wives. They love it there. But have occasional brown outs and internet is so so. Most of them now have star link. A few bought home house generators for those brown outs. They don't drink or smoke, so they stay out of the bars and the bs that goes on inside. They have happy content lives. Flying out next March. Also, depending on where you live ( if from USA) airfare will run between $1400-$3500 round trip.

Thank you for going to Philippines 🇵🇭 for the first time ever
I live in Manila and the reason it’s so cheap where he’s at is bec he is in the rural area. You won’t get those prices in the city
Which place is cheap looks like white beach
If you can get a good healthcare plan then you’re all set.
I went with Cigna Global for $160 a month for 100% covered inpatient care. (Im 43)
Try visiting ILOILO CITY, it's the Philippines' best-kept-secret. It's the Cleanest and Most Beautiful City in the Philippines. It's more beautiful than Cebu. Food is superb
ILOILO CITY is the UNESCO CREATIVE CITY OF GASTRONOMY IN THE PHILIPPINES.
No.. It's a boring place..
Thanks for choosing our country and telling the whole world how much you love it here. Stay safe and have fun!!
Filipinos in general are the most beautiful and nicest people of all Asians! They’re hardworking and generous and smart too❤
It's nice seeing Americans going into the philippines and also Welcome the people here are friendly and nice!
Dollars is so big in Philippines that's why
Thanks for promoting our country Philippines 🙏🙏🙏♥️
I miss the Philippines. The sun, the beaches, the people, the food (very western with asian influence, but filipino food has it’s own twist.), the laidback air, the contrast between cities and provinces (yet most place have a the convenience of modern life unless you are at a very far flung place)
adobo is good right? hehe
@@carlcondido5354 yep
Woah I would leave and live there immediately
I've watched someone from the US being interviewed and he said that he is homeless in the US because his pension can't afford the rent there, while here, he can have semi furnished 1 room apartment for $200. So he lives decently here. Not extravagant but he is living and not just surviving.
A pension will cover your costs in about 42 of the states. But some people living in expensive states do not know that.
If you are local, life there is hard, a Macdonald combo here in the u.s is equivalent of 1 day salary of a minimum wage earner in the Philippines , thats the reality in the Philippines
Us locals cant even afford that in a month salary. Usually we save atleast 2-3 months worth of salary.
I just hope these people moving in respect the country, the locals and their culture. And that they don’t take away the business opportunities of the locals (as some areas have had that happen).
Yes!! White man here: I have a Pinay (Filipina) wife. We visit family every year in Las Piñas Metro Manila. I have fallen in love with the Philippines and want to move there, but wife declined, saying she doesn’t want the hot weather again. 🇺🇸💛🇵🇭
Not her real reason
True
@@tessvalera6488 Hi Tita Tess! 🤗💛
You mentioned your race you must be American
@@stonewallis4373 Stone brother, mentioning ethnic background does not make one racist. I do it mostly to admit my lameness, naïveté, etc. If you dislike Americans, I don’t blame you. My country has become arrogant and smug. And we are soon to get our butts kicked by China’s military. Sometimes I root against our U.S. teams in the Olympics just because I think we need to be taught humility. Thanks for your brief comment. Respect to you. 🫡💛
This is called life. U.S is not good as it was before sad but true
You'll gonna love it here, dude! Enjoy! ✌️😁
Lets not forget women who respect their role as companions and wives
Where the so called cheap amenities are cheap enough for the dollars to come in but astronomically expensive for the ordinary Juan Dela Cruz (Filipino) to come anywhere near.
Sadly, even the builders (masons and carpenters) who once built and tirelessly labored for those establishments are not allowed or able to enjoy the benefits of the work of their hands 🥺😭
Also, the people are just nicer and more sociable and it's completely safe.
How amazing 🤩👍🏽 that food looked really Yummy 😋
I'm glad you like my country.
Thanks for being love our country❤
Prosperity for the Philippines :)
more power to the Filipino people!
I went to college in the philippines for 2 years back in the late 90s, such a great experieince. My college cerdits did tranfered to America University. Took all my electives and as fulltime student back then i paid $130 for the semester lol 😅
For the most part spent many days at my friends beach house and partied 😊
Rent was super cheap about $50 a month, and at that time had maid for $45 a month lol
Very nice people live in the Philippines 🇵🇭 😀.
Welcome to our country, your new home.
Yeah but you also need to remember the drawbacks, which are that you don't really have access to any first world amenities not in a direct way at least. So it's about gauging and measuring based on your own personal way of life and preferences
Yup. We know hes doing it for views 😅
Philippines is a great place to live. Culture shock for some but what country doesn't have issues. The point of this is friendliest people. Lived there for years. Sorry, but you can have the United States of Calamities. I want to live in peace not chaos.
🥺🥺🥺🥺THE REAL CLIMATE IN THE PHILIPPINES IS ALWAYS HOT N HUMID. SO DIRTY AIR POLLUTION, HIGH CRIME RATE, LOTS OF POVERTY, LOTS OF STREET CHILDREN BEGGING FOR FOODS N MONEY. THAT THE REAL LIFE IN THE PHILIPPINES
Wow I'm Filipino n that's a GREAT INSULT TO MY COUNTRY! CAN U TELL ME WHERE THERE ARE NO POLLUTION, NO POVERTY BUT LOTS OF HYPOCRITE NARCISSISTIC PEOPLE LIKE U? NOW TELL ME HOW IT FEELS WHEN U R BEING ATTACKED LIKE U DID TO OUR COUNTRY!! BUT NEVER MIND U EONT N CAN'T UNDERSTAND COZ U HAVE NO EMPATHY N HEART AS NARCISSISTIC PERSON LIKE U! USELESS NAH WORTHLESS. U R A WASTE OF TIME!!
Every place has more than one real life.
Welcome to the Philippines sir ❤❤❤
Enjoy explore my beautifull country philippines god bless stay safe
Nothing against the honest to goodness, hardworking tourists and retirees who have all the right to enjoy their own well earned labor.
Just laying the uncomfortable truth beneath the sand and marbles …. and curtains and cold cocktails and coconut water borne on the back of the modern slaves!
I live in the Philippines and I know what it cost, you are just a little rich boy living off daddy money
The property is a 327 SQM House and Lot located in Purolator 2, Doljo, Panglao, Bohol
59 meters Diagonally across Bellevue Hotel, about 200 meters from Modala Resort Hotel. More or less 150 meters going to the beach.
Price: PHP 5.5M
You can't buy it if you are not a Filipino citizen. You can only buy a condo.
Divorce first wife n Married local girl. U can own land.
I think you mean Purok 2, not Purolator 2
A FOREIGNER CANT OWN LAND IN THE PHILIPINES UNLESS HE:
1 MAKES HIS OWN CORPORATION
2 GETS A 25+ YEAR LAND LEASE.
3 CONDO
YOUR WELCOME
@@watersbey25 Actually your option 2 (the 25 year lease) is not really owning, it’s just renting.
The big key is finding a remote job that will let you do this because if not well it's just a relatively inexpensive vacation to a nice part of the world. I personally want to move to either Vietnam or Thailand as a home base and bounce around until I decide to move back to the States but likely to build a home in Florida since the real money is made in the United States.
humble and kind can make you a better man...
I'm in Philippines 🇵🇭
i'm filipino just a tip if you have 5k dollars you can live here 3-5 years with that budget, just go to province part of the philippines, life is simpler than city area.
Spent that in 5 months! I can’t imagine a comfortable life if it last 5 years. Maybe last one year is possible.
Yeah. Philippines is nice. Congratulations 🥳 many filipinos wanna leave philippines because of the living cost here is high and low salary. But they didn't know in other countries is more higher salary. But mooore higher living cost 🤣
It's all fun and games til the hard currency you got runs out. But seriously it isn't too bad 😂
Thanks for choosing the Philippines as Paradise 🇵🇭
Not to mention, you wouldn't need CCTV.. people look for each other and you will be greeted with a sweet smile all the time..
That's why, Philippines is the 1 best place in the world.
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
You cannot rent 200 USD house near seashores in urban places in the Philippines. It's only in very rural areas.
thank you for choosing Philippines 😊❤ enjoy and be careful 😊
Thank you for living here in Philippines
Depends on your source of income and standard of living. If you have a nice pension or work online profitably it’s good.
Isn't it something that the native Philippinos commenting here are saying "thank you for coming to the Philippines and keeping our economy good!" While natives of other countries such as Mexico are saying "Don't come! Stay where you are!"
Phillipino people are truly kind people! Thank you for your kindness to a hurting humanity.
I plan to move to the Philippines this July from Dubai,
Dubai del norte.
filipinos want to live in the US
Because of the $$$$
Kayo pala dahilan bakit ang mamahal ng bilihin dito sa amin ey.
Just as long you keep the Philippines clean and respect the culture and the people..
Wow that is freakin' unbelievable. I'm gonna pack my bags and leave Pasay to live in the Philippines!
Please dont make a life changing decision based on 30 seconds of rosey comments from a vlogger who is NOT showing you the real situation 😅
❤❤❤❤❤❤GOOD IDEA WELCOMETO THEPHILIPPINES
You forgot to mention the beautiful ladies. I wish I had come here 40 yrs ago.
I was just their last month, I'll be moving their God willing later on awesome place people are nice and you'll have peace
Nice dude! And agreed 😎
Salute!
Well said!

PHILIPPINES IS great country
Mabuhay! So,overwhelmed to hear from a foreign liking or love to stay here in our country Philippines 🇵🇭 God bless guys!
Wow, a total package for tourists. Amazing Philippines
The Philippines is really nice but...
I just can't let go of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska! It's my kind of vibe! But the Philippines IS a great place for me - or anyone - to visit, and the people are so wonderful and welcoming! 😍♥️💯 🇺🇲🇵🇭
