Ernie Baron during his time in the 90’s. He was saying in his radio program , if you drill from Philippines you will get out of Brazil because it’s geographically opposite.
lol i been to Sao Paulo and Manila is far more developed, safe most particularly BGC it is low crime rate than saopaulo and way far more modern . Sao Paulo looks old there are alot of highrise thousands i guess but very short like it stands only 10-20floors and they highrises are small unlike in Manila the towers are really modern tall. the infrastructure of Manila is way ahead to Saopaulo. Manila rank top 10 in the world for most no.of Skyscrapers while Sao Paulo i think top 90. even Mexico City, Panama and Santiago is nothing in front of ASIAN CITIES. Like SHANGHAI, TOKYO, SEOUL, KUALA LUMPUR, BANGKOK, MANILA, JAKARTA , HONGKONG and SINGAPORE.
Sao Paulo is the largest city in the Northern and Southern hemisphere of whole Americas. I been to Sao Paulo. I visit Brasil all the time and the country is as big as USA. I am from the Philippines originally and moved to Seattle a long time ago. Sao Paulo has 22 million people. It is quite modern too. Lots of multi national company of Americas is in Sao Paulo.
@@migovasquez0303 but, Sao Paulo has no skyscrapers standing 150 meters Manila is home for tall glassy skyscrapers and rank top 9 in the world for skyscrapers concentration.
@@migovasquez0303 yeah i see heres the data below. MANILA 145 Buildings = 150meters high 35 Buildings = 200-249meters high 25 Buildings = 250-280 meters high 1 Building =300meters high total skyscrapers Dec.2023 = 225 skyscrapers completed = 60+ underconstructions. Sao Paulo 18 buildings= 150-170meters high 1 buildings = 200+ meters high total= 19 skyscrapers completed
Hi Dami, Been watching your vblogs. I guess as with any research, you have to ask yourself: what's the purpose and who am I targeting? As someone starting out you could benefit from a little more patience with your guests, and you should review your questions. Some of your viewers have mentioned that the questions are repeated or the answers overlap. Try being more organic, just let it flow. Also, you should avoid allowing your own biases lead the discussion, give each encounter its due, and be flexible with your understanding of the Filipino culture because it's very fluid and has much diversity. If you allow my personal opinion, I think you should reduce your role as an "interviewer" and focus on your " interaction" with these people. For example, using the vlog above, it would have been amazing to ask them to visit a fashion store and have them comment, or ask them of their favorite up and coming fashions, events, etc. Like I said, each encounter is an opportunity for greater insight. Your approach as a foreign student actually sets you apart from other vloggers in the PI thus the potential for many ideas that this group can relate to. there is a lot of common ground with local students, government services and tourism. Interview the dean at your university. Show the university campus. Talk about student rentals or Bunwan Beach or hostels in Baguio. BGC is great for tourism, but you are a local dweller thus your mission is to expose the best shopping for students on budgets. Best budget eateries, like on Timog Avenue. Talk about the student visas, meet someone from immigration. Talk to the CHEd, etc. You catch my drift. And trust me, one or two vblogs a week with relevant material is much better than daily if your material doesn't have a "wow" factor. You can fill the time with "shorts". Keep up the good work, keep developing your experience, and everyone will keep watching. 👍
