Really cool to see you work out your process and recognize things in your creative flow that can be changed! No need to worry about us complaining the shots aren’t absolutely pristine - I’d rather see you be real and honest, it’s why I subscribed in the first place. Looking forward to your future work!
yeah it didn't come through. the audio in this whole video is whack but it felt good to release something so flawed. next one will be less messy! thanks for your support!!
I never watched your videos for the perfection, but because you're so damn wise for your age! I turn 60 next month and I wish I had 1/4 of the wisdom and self reflection you have. I am here and will always be here for your channel and thoughts.
Love that quote. Perfectionism is something I struggle with so I ended up not releasing things. I’ve gotten better about it, but being a perfectionist definitely slow downs the process.
Hi Cody, sorry for my English, I helped myself with Google translate and I know there will be inaccuracies. I've been following you for some time and I think your videos are full of emotions and allow you to dream. It's so fascinating to be able to witness a life in a Van, to travel, to have new experiences. Your content is truly special and never banal. Hold on, keep making us dream, thank you.
Hey Cody, In one of your videos you said, 'remind yourself that if it is to be, it's upto me' and that got me hooked to your channel. Way above your immaculate frames and grades, your character shines the brightest through this channel. And that's what we are here for. Take it easy and be you. Looking forward to seeing more of your work bud!
Hey cody! This is something i struggle with too. I tend to get in my own way and end up not doing what i really want to do because im camera shy, or because i feel the need to prove and impress other people or worry about what others think. Unfortunately, this along with other personal factors have led me to push some people that were close to me away. Keeping up a shield has kept people out, but has also kept myself out as well. What i learned from this, is that it is important to stay true to yourself and have fun, and not worry about what others think. The rest of the good things will follow suite. You got this dude! And btw, even with low effort, your heart is still shown in the content you create because it’s genuine.
Even in bumbling to are very articulate. Some of my most favorite images are mistakes, maybe, or ones that I don't really remember taking. Looking forward to you letting your hair down. Puns?
Reminds me of some of the comments from Big Joel on his starting the Little Joel second channel, how it can be more motivating and fun to let that need to create big perfect scripts yield to making shorter spurious content. Keep it up! And don't hold yourself to perfect consistency either
Maaaaan you'll be fine, your content it's great because you are who you are bro, and we like your personality and photos that's all you (and we) need ❤
Post and ghost brother! Its a community, I get it, but I think you should just do this more for you, than us. If you compete with yourself, I think it will break you out of the box of conforming to other peoples' opinions. Looking forward to the next video as always!
myself is the only person I'm competing with! trust me, I'm doing this for myself as much as i am for anybody else. this channel is but a small glimpse into the way I approach my work. appreciate your input though.
Dude, looks like you really pin pointed the problem. Maybe try to talk with a professional? Hopefully one day you will let yourself not to try so hard :)
Dude, you scared me there for a second. I know releasing this narrative is going to make you feel much lighter sir. So proud of you bud.
Feels like a weight off my shoulders already. Next one coming soon!

I really appreciate that, Jeremy. Thank you!
To be honest, I didn't even hear the bell. This is going to be a change for the better and I like it. All the best in your journey!

Just found and subbed your channel. it's the imperfections that make the content more interesting.
I really resonate with your feelings about perfectionism.
