This video came at the right time.
Last year I told myself I am going to do youtube videos about photography. Trips in the Czech Republic, showcasing and shooting less known parts. Mostly analog photography.
I fell a victim to my need to compare myself to my analog photography heroes, yourself included.
My shots were not good enough, my script wasn't good enough, my own voice hurt my ears, my actual photos were crap.
So I tried some attempts anyway, even cut some videos and after a few nights' work they ended up in the Windows bin.
Include in that family to take care of and cherish (2yo), a 9to5, I burned out quickly. I felt some resurgence a few weeks ago only to be put into a miserable state by the Ukraine war, knowing even my Kyokushin sensei fights in that war. It's too damn close and I feel like doing CZcams is just a stupid idea, that doesn't help anybody in these awful times and apart from sending some money, I fell into depression, that I can't do more for the effort.
But maybe, it's the right thing to do, to put my voice out there even in these bad times. I am still not sure, but you made me think about it again.

Really like the philosophical insights into photography that's common through all your stuff. The honesty in your struggles are very relatable, especially the juggling act. I feel like that deep down and am trying to push forward every minute of everyday, even though I know Iâm privileged and lucky, I still struggle. Great videos man keep it going.

I love how open an honest this is. I definitely feel like I have to 1-up my creative work every time, even though it's impossible to just keep going up & up. This was a good reminder to everyone out there it's okay to at least stay consistent, instead of burning yourself out.
