"You've information regarding the treacherous vermin known as the Doctor?"
"You're talking to her!"
The end result never gets old.
👏
3:35 Probably my favorite Sontaran line of dialogue
"We accept your offer...of a massacre! Your blood shall soak our uniforms. Your bodies shall soften our steps"
(Dramatic music)
Just epic.
oh yes! that dialogue is so good, the Sontarans are so brutal here!
2:17 "I wanted to ride a horse." Truly the funniest line of the episode, or Flux as a whole. 😂😂🤣😂😂
Love or hate The Flux season, you can’t deny this scene was BRILLIANT 🤩
"And also... I wanted to ride a horse" 😂 brilliant! This whole scene (and episode as a whole) is SO good! Both Jodie and Jonathan Watson (who plays the Sontaran Commander) are fantastic here!
Yah this scene was so well shot. How it shows how far apart they are. We slightly hear the sontarans marching in the back. And then her coming face to face with human stupidity again
@@charlespettit7149 Flux was filmed with covid protocols so most scenes have characters conveniently standing very far away from one another. But it works really well here :D
@@dark_ops1651 yah, that is something I mention endlessly about this era and how sad I am it was shortened by COVID. However, these shots are great, also the new years special, with the few people trapped with Daleks was a great idea. I just dislike how big the sets feel, with so little people. But I understand why it's like that
“ I wanted to ride a horse” fantastic! Chibnall knows his Sontarans
Its more the build up being so straight faced and legitimately scary than the cheap joke.
“You deceived my soldier…”
“It wont difficult 😏”
I love her 😂😂
She deserved better writing and stories throughout her time as the Doctor. That was her biggest problem during her tenure.
This is the only time I can remember ever seeing the Sontarans as an actual proper military force.
"the First Question, the oldest question in the universe, that must never be answered, hidden in plain sight"
Doctor Who?
Love this scene, and also love the callback to commander lynx from the sontarans first apprenace in classic who
Agreed, especially since I have that serial thanks to the Sontaran Monster Collection DVD, so was able to recognise who Lynx was when name dropped.
It's kind of scary that he says they chose this time to invade because he wanted to ride a horse. It's almost the equivalent of "we invaded because we can" lol
Wonderful scene, from the idea to the images and the music.
"And also, I wanted to ride a horse! Like a Bantha!"
0:02 The one time in nWho where the Sonic Screwdriver actually does something sonic.
it always does something sonic
it makes a noise
@@comsky4251 Fair point. I'm just refering to the magic wand abilities the damn thing has had since its ressurection in 2005. If you are going to use it as a get out of jail free card at least come up with a bullshit explination about how directed soundwaves can do that don't just wave your hand vaguely.

As for the ratings of the episode... well I'll let you look that up yaself...
My third favourite Jodie episode after 'Haunting of Villa Diodati' and 'Village of the Angels'
Honestly, once Upon time is great how she plays herself, she plays the fugitive doc, she plays yaz's partner, binders admiral etc all in the same ep. And her as the fugitive doc was one of my favorite things about flux. And I like a lot. Haunting of Villa diodati is seriously a masterpiece. Thirteen we've seen her anger and sadness threaten to break out and we see her cracking at the seams prior, especially post spyfall and her search for the master and loss of gallifrey etc. But in haunting we see her break and yell at them and her speech about "can you call it? That's what I thought. This team structure isn't flat, it's mountainous with me at the summit alone" gives me chills Everytime with her delivery and we see the pain. And then we see her have to decide to protect the universe or save the earth once again faced with a impossible choice. I consider the next episode a continuation, and the beginning is heartbreaking when she yells at them again and mentions bill and Danny I cry a little "I can't lose another friend to that" is so heart wrenching when we remember the indomitable Bill.
When people see you without a mask for the first time : " On second thought put it back on !"
This scene was one of the very few rare scenes in Jodie’s run where it was tense and actually good! Wish we had more of this
Nah, that’s the vast majority of her era (the only exceptions to the former being moments of comedy and/or pre-/post-main story).
The biggest issue during her run wasn't Jodie but the lack of quality in the writing of many episodes in her run.
The way how she changes the settings is just cool
That thing is magic wand at this point, sad
@@ScoobyandShaggy5554 that's always bound to happen with the sonic, that's why JNT ditched it for his run
@@nico2605 Agreed one of the few things JNT was right on.
@@ScoobyandShaggy5554 what do you mean? How is the Sonic screwdriver making a Sonic sound crazy or unbelievable? What's really unbelievable is watching Matt's doc shooting the silence with his screwdriver in the two parter impossible astronaut
One of her Best Scenes! No Cap!
Can’t deny the Scottish accent for the sontaron actually works very well
I didn't hear a Scottish accent.
I definitely did. Accent, not tongue. God help us all of he started talking like the bad stereotype for Scottish.
Lol this is neither here nor there but I love that everyone in DW is northern now
The sonic literally looks so cool 😆 I love this whole scene
Flintlock pistol? At the time of the Crimean war the British had purchased 5000 Colt Navy revolvers for the Army and Royal Navy
This was my favourite epsiode of flux
Chibs did the sontarans well
“Take your Helmet off mate!… ooo on second thought, put it back on!”
I absolutely loved that reaction when she was disgusted by the Sontaran reveal and the line that followed, was hilarious and brilliant.
Absolutely adore this episode! As all of Flux!
Absolutely love 13 😊 Jodie did a brilliant job!
Humans: We have guns
Sontarans: We have lasers.
...
Humans: Right, shall we do the natural thing and run at each other, treating our weapons as if they were sticks?
Sontarans: Maybe a few running shots, but yeah, sure.
I'm glad they reference Linx.
*Lynx
Such a great season and a text book example of how to use classic villains 🎉
Doctor who is the best show ever and question for everyone favourite episode from the flux?
Village of the Angels
prolly this one of the village of angels. im just personally sad that the ending was so rushed.
This one
Village of Angels and this Sontaran one are pretty fun.
Idk if it were my favourite but I liked Once Upon Time because it was fun to see the main cast play different roles 😂😂
Amazing episode no doubt 👏🏾
Love this scene so much but tbh i realy want to see the "bel vs the cybermen" scene
God I love her as the doctor
I felt bad for the Doctor here. Twice she managed to talk hostile creatures into leaving peacefully, but the second one of the humans shoot them down, the gloves come off. But it's kinda unintentionally here, because at least on screen this happened to her twice, when in chronology this is the first time they pulled that.
I would have preferred if they did the battle as the British firing the cannons and a volley then the sontarians eat it and open fire butchering the British
Commander Skaak: SONTAR-HA!
Also Commander Skaak: 2:17
*We would destroy the British with One Sontaran!*
When are we gonna see the Sontaran emperor themself? 🤔
Great season
Doctor please forgive me for being stupid and blind you are the doctor no matter who it is thanks for the amazing story's
sontaran mask look like a balloon with half the air out of it.
That's the third time you upload this
Oh goodie - another episode where the Doctor defeats Big Ed's species!
I have to say, I much prefer seeing this in a 16:9 aspect ratio rather than the original 2:1. It just fits better with this era's photography I feel like.
Did they really have to add visuals to the SONIC screwdriver? I've never seen sound before.
They did a couple of times in series 1. You can see it when the Doctor uses it on the elevator at the start of 'Rose'. They originally wanted it as a permanent feature, but the visuals were to expensive
Love Jodie whittaker she my favourite doctor ever going to miss her when she leaves so excited for the sea devil's return and thasmin
We are still the clever ones, and you are still the potato ones. Long live the Royal Mounted Sontaran Empire! And, of course the outright arrogance of both the Sontarans and the British Army. Anyone got a wok?
I think this was called flux story and I enjoyed it ,I watched this about 2 week's here in Australia Tasmania thanks from Kim now about to watch The Dalek invasion of Earth parts 1- 6 on video that I picked up at a 2nd hand shop( thrift shop) only cost me $ 5 Aus dollars
Seeing the santarns from teh 10th docto and comparing them to this.. as a doctor I would say, " my gawd, I have only regenerated once more and you went from baked to burnt potatoe. What happend to you lot? And invading a planet when no ones looking? Thats not the sontarn way."
Question is When will Doctor who be coming back to TV?. Plus who will be the Doctor?.
April 17, 2022 with Jodie Whittaker.
What have you done to Doctor Who? 😭
My docors
Now that Flux is finally out on DVD, I'm planning to get it sometime next week.
🤞 Eve of the Daleks is included in it
EotD is not included.

let the sontaran ride the horse for god sake
You should have stopped uncle Jerry and.... said uncle Bob.
Take your helmet off, mate!
_Takes off helmet_
On second thought, put it back on!
Edit: Regeneration can’t save me from this lmao
Did anyone else want to applaud when she said 'You're talking to her'?
She finally remembered to use feminine pronouns for herself 👏 (apparating man- lady 😂)
Such a great detail. She's finally learned after traveling so long 🤣 and a great continuity detail
Scottish mad lad Sontaran is best Sontaran!
Gonna miss Jodie ❤️

Honestly I like 13 at first I disliked her but after rewatching her three seasons it’s not her fault but due to bad writing now even though she’s not my favorite she doesn’t deserve the hate as she is trying her best to be the doctor but i can’t wait for the next doctor
Due to bad writing? Disagree, obviously the writing is bad but Jodie is too blame just as much.
David, Matt and Peter all had their fair share of poorly written episodes but they actually made it tolerable because they are greater actors
@@ethansmith7272 I disagree with this I have watched Jodie in several other things she is an excellent actress when given the right material.
@@neptune04 I never said she was a bad actress. She's good in Attack the Block, Black Mirror, Journeyman.
I'm saying she hasn't got the talent for Doctor Who
@@ethansmith7272 My mistake I misinterpreted your comment from earlier.
What a civil argument lmao but I see what your saying @Ethan Smith and i do agree that all writers on doctor who have had bad writing but I just think with the the timeless child and how it threw everything away from the day of the doctor kinda sucked
sad to see her go she reminded me of Tom Baker
Same only with me it was Patrick Troughton I was reminded of.
she reminded me of jo grant
the 4 previous Doctors would never have let things get that far.they would have taken down the sonatrans and prevented this slaughter
0:20 - DAMN TO THE DEPTHS WHATEVER MUTTONHEAD THOUGHT UP PARLEY!!!!!
I dislike Jodie’s run but I love this scene. I’ll be honest.
That sound was the combined sound of the snoring of every person that fell asleep out of boredom watching a Chibnall Era episode.
Not many, then; no wonder it wasn’t very loud!
I watched it and didn't fall asleep and enjoyed it.
I find it adorable that they had her (the doctor) threaten a sontaran soldier with death, did the doctor suddenly forget who these beings are? I gotta admit I laughed along with the soldier
Did you forget who the doctor is?
I feel so bad as , due to certain circumstances I've missed the new Dr Who lady .
I can't wait for Russell T Davies to come back and save Doctor Who.
It doesn’t need saving.
Indeed. You can’t save a corpse. It died long ago.
@@wtrollkin And there is no corpse. It died never.
(At least you admit you’re a troll, unlike most of your ilk!)
@@wtrollkin You can if the corpse isn't brain dead.
Big facts…Chibs fucked this hard!!!
Not sure why they decided to go back to the old Sontaran design…the new design worked so well!!
Could’ve been tall and still looked like the modern sontaran rather than that catastrophe…
She is still not gone?
im waiting for her doctor to end, hopefully it gets better.
Haven’t you been keeping up? Ok, I’ll tell you. “She” who has a name - Jodie Whittaker, doesn’t leave till later this year.
