I think itâs wonderfully timey-wimey of Doctor Who to follow its 60th anniversary celebrations with âSeason Oneâ. Just as it launched its 10th series with âThe Pilotâ and celebrated the ânuWhoâ 10th anniversary in 2015 just 16 months after marking the showâs 50th anniversary in 2013. Or, indeed, the so-called â(BBC) centenaryâ special coming a year before the 60th anniversary.
That said, calling the 2024 episodes âSeason 14â is JUST WRONG. I assume you actually meant âSeries 14â-Season 14 was âThe Masque of Mandragoraâ to âThe Talons of Weng Changâ, originally broadcast between September 1976 and March 1977.
In America itâs season 1 but uk its season 40 or 14

I wish I could watch it, but, I don't have Disney+. I used to be able to buy the seasons on iTunes. Which is far cheaper than subscribing to Disney+. My reaction to the new Doctor is that I wish John Barrowman wasn't persona non grata with Doctor Who. Because I wish I could see some interaction between Jack Harkness and the new Doctor. As it is, I couldn't even get that excited for Tennant's return since I couldn't watch it.
How is this season already over? It just started
2 episodes left. The guy who writes it or whatever came out in the last 48 hours saying it might be finished after 2025 from such low amounts of people watching. Since they filmed the next season already it's kind of being seen now as the seasons end two weeks early. Confusing, but it's just two weeks haha.

Ruby could be the Doctor's daughter and the mother of Susan. Someone said that the doctor mentioned having a granddaughter (Susan) but no children that he knew of, due to things happening out of sequence because of time travel. So, eventually he will have to have a kid.

I think Doctor Whois not salvageable. If Russell hired a more mature man for the Doctor, who wasnât a homosexual, it could have been saved. Chibnall put Doctor Who in a casket and Russell sealed the cover on it and buried it. I wish Matt Smith could come back and wake up from a bad dream and say he saw three Doctors that were all bad and made a way to not regenerate into them or something like that.

In all my years, decades of touching grass with hands and rear end, itâs never been this exciting. Nice, but not exciting. This is something to run home for. Or, if youâre lucky enough, sit down n a cinema seat for the midnight showing on a very big screen in frightening 4K.

Worst season of WHO since the 1960s. These episodes have been terrible. They're inductive of beautiful shellac and rotten insides. The sky goblins to start things off... And evening with no one we care about. The companion was just annoying, the last character that was this annoying at least grew up to be the lead singer of Pretty Reckless.
Ncuti is a great actor but this overy acting utterly twirly character... Just ain't Dr material sorry this idea of the Dr has ruined THE WHO franchise. A flat out ALIEN would have been better! Have some Alien bouncing in time where no one seems to care that he's an alien but his companion is constantly amazed by the fact no one seems to care

To be honest because of all the attempts to turn the whole world queer I didn't even realize these were plot points. I personally couldn't give a shit who Ruby Sunday is and as for the old lady I didn't even notice her because it was so badly scripted she didn't make an impact. That is not foreshadowing and it's not something that people would notice until somebody pointed it out. I have watched all the episodes to be honest because I like Millie and I think ncuty had so much potential to Energize the show but it's bollocks
