I love it by my heart, but sometimes it just hurts my wrist, and back then, i decided that when i grew up, i would purchase a Royal enfield but dont know which one should i go for interceptor or Gt. Everyone loves Gt, but I'm looking for a comfortable and mature bike. Shall i go with the interceptor
As someone that owns a Gt650, I absolutely love this thing! It is so much fun, responsive, everyone gives me compliments! However, my back, ass and wrists hurt so bad! Haha. We went off road today on dirt and gravel, I did it, but I don't recommend it. The balance is tricky, I can't stand up and guide the bike like you can on a dirt bike because the sitting position is too aggressive, downhill was a nightmare and the tires just aren't good for gravel. Standing up is impossible downhill to guide the bike because all eight is on your wrists. so converting this to a hybrid scrambler would require a lot of work. The interceptor would be easier to modifier by swapping out tires because it's already upright. For looks, style, and pure speed, get the gt650. For everything else, get the intercepter. If I could redo I would get a intercepter and convert it to a scrambler. But if you choose the gt650 for style and looks like I did, I ain't gonna blame you! Had mine two years and only Minor problems so far. Everything that has ever been wrong with it I could fix it myself by using the owners manual and CZcams. 😎
before doing extensive things, you can try checking the tyre pressure, cleaning the spark plugs, cleaning the air filter, ensuring proper slack on your chain drive, true the wheels and not rev excessively or ride fast in lower gear.
Whats your opinion on getting ppf or lamination done on new bikes? Did you get it on your interceptor? If yes is it worth it?, I have been watching a lot of your content on interceptor and ended up getting fascinated with the bike and bought one and i am loving it, but I am worried about the paint though as its rainy and I have already scratched the tank with the keys.
I have not gotten it done on either of my motorcycles. It is a good thing for sure. I am planning to get it done sometime in future. For my interceptor. Himalayan has a matte finish so I want to keep it as is.
Yes you can. It helps throttle response becomes slightly better. Mileage is never dependent on the air filter. It actually depends on how you ride the motorcycle.
Just wanted to clarify this ! ...how people drilling holes on tyres( the spoke wheel which comes with tubeless) ..helps them to be tubeless ( without worrying about the puncture?)
This doesnt filter as good as stock air filter ... so is it not best to stick to OEM filter than using this and allowing small junk to get into your engine .. what do u say bro ??

No doubt! The GT will always be an emotional purchase while interceptor will remain a practical purchase.

Hey, is it good if i use normal detergent for cleaning performance air filter? I have motowings airfilter for RE Interceptor
Yes you may. Instead of a detergent use a soapy solution to not be too hard on the filter element. And once it is dry, you can oil it up.

I have installed Outex tubeless kit on my interceptor wheels. So I have spoked wheels, but they are tubeless.

@@halash_gowda5127 I say it is perfectly safe to install K&N or BMC air filters. They make the filtration better and help with a better air flow.
