My husband and I have been married for 24 years (in December). We have been through just about everything and it hasn't been always perfect, but we still are seriously in love with each other. He gives me butterflies when he walks in a room everytime. He still texts me cute things and thinks I am beautiful even though I am getting old. I can't imagine my life without him and very excited that I get to spend eternity with him. My best advice is keep your sense of humor, talk with each other and be open to each other's opinions. Do something to make each other smile everyday.

My husband and I have been married for 12 1/2 years, together for 21 1/2. We were 15 and 17 when we started dating and we’ve gone back to the spot where he first asked me out several times through the years. We were sitting on the edge of the water of lake Pontchartrain overlooking the casino (we live outside of New Orleans). Obviously ‘dates’ looked very different for us considering how young we were, but it’s still fun to reminisce.
Been married 34 years (in Dec). I proposed at the DL wishing well. We go back when we can to remember it. Lol. Going next month to visit again. Being best friends before you marry is a great goal. In our case - we also share faith. Love your videos.

The spot y’all went to over by the bungalows actually used to be a wedding spot before the villas went in. It’s called Sunset Point and is where my husband and I had our first kiss, became a couple and got engaged 😊. We celebrated 10 years of marriage this month and if there’s one piece of advice we could give, it’s to expect that you will grow as people and change what you want in life - communicate often and meaningfully about that (even when it hurts), support and challenge each other in your growth. My husband and I have grown so much in 15+ years of knowing each other - we’re different people in a lot of ways. But by actively involving your partner in your growth you make space to grow together and not apart. ❤
Casey, my husband and I were so nervous at our wedding reception before our first dance (we had a choreographed number that no one knew about) that we barely ate anything when we were supposed to eat. 😂 needless to say, we were starving when we got back to our room that night. I completely understand the nerves keeping you from eating.

Do not ever think you are better off to not tell your partner something, thinking you are protecting them, tell them. Never stop dating that was advice that I was given when my husband and I got married was never stop dating. Sometimes people get too, caught up in the links of the relationship and forget the dating aspect. Advice that I was also given was don’t be afraid to take time for yourself. Weather for KC it’s a spa day. Where are you going to get her nails done or shopping with the girls and for Kyle hanging out with his friends going to the golf range things like that. my husband and I have been married 10 years and we’ve been together for 13 years and we go on date night every Friday and if we don’t go on a date night we spend time together inside and just reflect.
Best advice is to keep going on dates and have fun. Take your time and don't rush. My husband and I just celebrated 10 years back in June and we actually got engaged at the Poly new years eve 11 years ago..way before they took away our favorite firework spot.
Oh my, please don’t suggest that someone, especially someone you love would look beautiful in a different haircut. Just let her know that she looks beautiful just the way she is! If she wants to cut her hair, that’s her choice!
Me and my fiancé have been together for 11 years so far. He proposed on the beach at the poly (where they are building the new resort). We recreate our engagement every time we come to Disney now. We love a monorail bar crawl. The poly is also such a special place for us.

It is our 29th Wedding Anniversary today and 38 years since my husband called me for our first date. I love watching your relationship blossom. My advice is to always communicate everything. Do not ever think you are better off to not tell your partner something, thinking you are protecting them, tell them. My husband and I separated for 5 years and reconciled to a much healthier and stronger marriage. Can't wait to see your proposal :)

Never stop dating that was advice that I was given when my husband and I got married was never stop dating. Sometimes people get too, caught up in the links of the relationship and forget the dating aspect. Advice that I was also given was don’t be afraid to take time for yourself. Weather for KC it’s a spa day. Where are you going to get her nails done or shopping with the girls and for Kyle hanging out with his friends going to the golf range things like that. my husband and I have been married 10 years and we’ve been together for 13 years and we go on date night every Friday and if we don’t go on a date night we spend time together inside and just reflect.
Best advice is to keep going on dates and have fun. Take your time and don't rush. My husband and I just celebrated 10 years back in June and we actually got engaged at the Poly new years eve 11 years ago..way before they took away our favorite firework spot.

Me and my fiancé have been together for 11 years so far. He proposed on the beach at the poly (where they are building the new resort). We recreate our engagement every time we come to Disney now. We love a monorail bar crawl. The poly is also such a special place for us.

From day 1, Casey was a natural on camera. I can't imagine how nervous she was being introduced for the first time on camera and trying to be herself. Loved the video and the 2 of you recreating your first date. You both belong together...it's obvious! My words of advise for a long, successful marriage...(1) Always treat each other with respect; (2) Never go to bed angry; and (3) Always keep that line of communication open. The rest you will need to navigate yourself as a couple.
