    Hi mate, i found the best way to apply the Meguiars product is wash and dry the car, spray on the meguiars ceramic wax, use a damp (not saturated) microfibre towel to spread it, give it a minute or so then buff off with a dry towel. I got almost 6 months out of it. Im in Australia and dont get snow, so not a harsh environment but was a daily driver.

      Yes I know that method, and I like it too. In this video series I’m testing it out using the directed method of putting down a base layer first. Thanks for watching mate! 😊

    Thanks for the review sir. Excellent video work as always. I always enjoy your candor about the products you review. I was thinking about getting the Koch Chemie Sealant for a while now and you've brought me to the decision to buy it. QUESTION: Have you ever tried the Koch Chemie Hartswachs (not sure I spelled it right?). It's a sealant in the same category as the one you are reviewing here that Koch Chemie offers. I looked on The Rag Company web page and it just says it's a long lasting sealant. I was just wondering what the difference between the two products are? The Koch Chemie Hartswach's product is supposedly a good one also but I haven't used it yet. I am just on the fence on which one to purchase. The Hartswach's one or the one you show here. Thanks for any info if you have tried the other Koch Chemie one or not or know someone who has used the other sealant from Koch Chemie.

      Thanks man! I haven’t used the Hartswach, but from the looks of it, it’s a spray wax and doesn’t contain any ceramic properties. So when they say lasts for months, it’s probably a 2-3 month longevity rating. That’s my initial impression without diving too deep on it. Give it a try, I’d love to know what your impressions are.

    Price comparison of "cheap" vs "expensive" isn't the best method imo. Yes it's important but value for the dollar is the most important. If the more expensive product performs better overall then it's "cheaper" in the long run. Thanks!

    Nice review, when using the Koch Chemie in the past how have you found the durability time wise?

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  Před 3 měsíci +1

      It last around 6 months or so depending on exposure and care. We’re going to find out more definitively in this test. I’m making the follow up video this week

    So is the Maguire product able to be used after a wash while the car is still wet and rinsed after, too?? Or on a dry car.

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yes, it can be used as a spray on when wet after a wash and then rinsed, or on a clean dry car as shown in this video. Meguiars recommends applying it on a dry car (as I did) first as a base layer, then using it during a rinse after washings.

    My s0.02 leaves hazing on black surfaces and on glass/lights, too. Why does this happen? It does not leave even after extesnive wiping.

      Are you working in direct sunlight? How large of an area are you doing at once? It sounds like you may be using too much product. Try using less product, maybe by half.

      I’m not sure, the only variables here that could be causing streaking would be using too much product or the towels. Try using less product and make sure you’re applying with a clean towel or applicator, and try buffing off almost immediately with a clean HQ microfiber.

    • @flowinthrou
      @flowinthrou Před 2 měsíci

      @@TurnerMobileDetailing Yes, everything new and good quality, buffing immediately.
      I`ve used it on my mobile screen, too and saw the same thing, clouds that stay even with wiping.
      I`ll use less next time.

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@flowinthrou yes using less product is they only variable, based on your description, that I can think of being the issue. After you wash, I would recommend using an IPA prep spray during the drying process so the surface is nice and clean. It’s possible that if there’s something left over on the surface it will not allow the finishing product the bond and buff properly.
