My fiance and I booked panet hollywood four our vegas honeymoon and so glad we were able to validate our choice with your video today!!! So excited
Have fun!!
I whole heartedly agree with everything Aly said in this review of PH.
I mentioned in your last Vegas post that I’ve never had any desire to visit Vegas, but I think this posting has changed my mind! It looks like it would be a lot of fun!
it's super fun
Vegas is one of the very few places in the world where over 50% of visitors are repeat visitors within 2 years, which shows how great of a destination it is (to the point that people are opting to frequently visit it again). The only other destination that is as loved as Vegas is Tokyo.
Thank you Aly for the great tips 😊
This is a really good video
Thanks for sharing
Aly hello!! You always do such a great job with information people REALLY appreciate! I loved knowing more about planet Hollywood and the PLANNIN website, the price you paid for that wonderful room even I could afford! Thank you as always, kudos to you and handsome hubby! Best wishes always! 🎉
Just booked it for a few nights in a couple of weeks from now :) $700 all in.
I’m a single woman in her mid-60s, and I prefer to travel solo, so maybe you can showcase some places or ideas for seniors or solo travelers? Thanks!
Great idea. Totally agree.🙂
Age is just a number. Its all about your personality & preferences. So the better question would be: what type of activities are you interested in, and what are your "non negotiables"?
Anywhere that has you scan a key to enter the elevator area. Venetian is great for that. Aria makes you scan but they have super long hallways and my wife was followed one time but security was watching and spooked the creeps
That info would include me too! 😹
@@RM1969RMGood on ya girl, age IS just a number, thank you Jesus! 😂
Staying here next month looking forward to it
I am new to your channel but have watch a lot of your Vegas videos .. This video dibhave some great info... Thank you so much ... I have been to Planet Hollywood to gamble and eat in the shops..I usually stay at The Flamingo, but you may have changed my mind a give Planet Hollywood a go... I will be down there in June and have not booked yet.. thanks again... From a fellow Canadian.. lol... 🇨🇦🇨🇦🍺🍺
We have stayed at PH twice and we will again in May. We have stayed lots of other places but by far this is our favorite hotel/casino. You hit on all of our favorite things about including size, location, and FOOD! The bathtubs are an absolute luxury item in Vegas too. One other thing we love is the fridge but the fact that we can go to an ABC store and not have to carry a case of water a mile to my hotel.
wait, All Std rooms have a fridge????
We stayed at the Planet Hollywood last week, I agree with the points you made Aly. I would add that you have to pay for pool services, WIFI, early check-in, and other amenities. Just double check the fine print on any services before you go. Very easy to Lyft from the hotel anywhere on the strip quickly and efficiently. The mall attached is super convenient with many food options.
Thanks for the review. I'll be staying at PH for the first time in June.
The once had a front desk where a $20 tip would get you a wonderful strip view. Now it's a kiosk, no human contact so good luck with that.
At first Aly I thought this was going to be some April Fool's prank like "Why I Think Circus Circus Is The Best In Vegas!" But a minute into it I knew it was going to be a very good review. Thanks so much! If I didn't already plan my stay at Mandalay Bay I would definitely make a reservation there. I love the location & Food options. Thanks so much for recommending the Plannin site also!
I stayed at Mandalay 7yrs ago in a "standard" room and loved it. I've stayed in another 8 resorts but Mandalay's was bigger, who cares location nowadays Lyfts are cheap🎉
Yes for sure
I'll be staying at Planet Hollywood in May!
I echo your thoughts about PH. I stayed here in December and found it central and easy to get to different places. I DID try the $20 trick and got this huuuuge room on the 51st floor complete with a bar, dining room, living room, and two bathrooms. I believe it would normally go for $700 a night. The funniest part is that the room had nine (I counted them) pictures of Sly Stallone scattered throughout the room. My only downside is that I found the walls thin and I could hear a conversation in the next room as though the people were in the same room. But I would stay here again.
I’m coming to Vegas as a solo traveller for the first time in May and have booked to stay in Planet Hollywood so this video made me so happy! Any other first timer tips would be greatly appreciated!!
I'm planning the same type of trip.
I have a blog post about first timer tips for Vegas! likewhereyouregoing.com/las-vegas-tips-first-timers/ enjoy!! you will have a blast
@@alysmalls perfect thank you so much ☺️
@@crystalh6570 ah how great!! I’m so excited!!
@rjbailey1986 Been to Vegas many times. You'll have tons of fun. I'm a solo traveller too and going there in May as well. When are you planning your trip?
J'adore cette Hôtel 🎉🎉🎉🤩🤩🤩un Français Fan de LAS VEGAS 🎆🎆✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
PH is great for cheap eats. Earl of sandwich is always a go to for me on dinner breaks from neighboring resort poker tournaments
For a hotel in that range & area I even prefer THE SIGNATURE AT THE MGM (only has suites or condos) or VDARA
Hi, how are you? Your CZcams videos are wonderful and fascinating. The video ideas and sentiments are also excellent and involve a lot of effort and passion for this CZcams channel. 💌💌💌
Well me and a few buddies want to go in mid maybe late September but I assume the hotel prices are gonna be a lot more then, also we would plan on staying during the party days of friday-Saturday as part of the 4 day trip.
If you go to Cabo Wabo ask them to make you a Waborita its not on the menu but its Sammy Hagars signature drink. Its my 1st stop everytime I'm in vegas.
Ooooh! I love that! What's in it? Definitely gonna ask for that next time 👍👍
After the PH restaurants theme I was expecting more from P.H when it opened, for a little bit more I can stay at Mandalay Bay ❤ or on a budget I stayed at Flamingo or Horseshoe (ballys) as long as rooms are newly renovated ❤
I've stayed there twice..it really is a great hotel on the strip in a prime location
Just got back home today, I agree location-location-location. Its hard to find a room with a fridge which is good. also the resort fee has a lone item "resort tax" Miracle Mile has really good low cost breakfast. My issue was the music is soooooooooooooooo loud.
How much is resort fee?
How is the mini fridge situation? I'll be traveling to Vegas next month for the first time and staying at PH. Wondering if the mini fridges are the kind that you can't move anything or you'll be charged. I'd like to pick up a few bottles of water and canned drinks to put in the fridge.
All rooms have empty mini fridges that you can use for your own drinks
What room is that please? Thanks
What are the PH blackjack payouts and table minimums?
Yes it is.Planet Hollywood is our go to place for las vegas trip.being ceasars rewards members the wife I get good rates on rooms.the area is good for food options n great place for the strip action.👍
Planet Hollywood, NYNY and Horseshoe are my best value strip hotels. Horseshoe especially as you can get around cheaply from the airport and downtown via bus ($5 a day) and a very short walk to Ellis Island for cheap eats and excellent gambling. Also short walk to Linq promenade. Maybe your next hotel stay?
Horseshoe rooms are good size and renovated but the key for me was the rooms are quiet since they are thick concrete from the 70s ( original mgm ) and they have the only pool with a deep end that's I believe 12 feet! The only knock is homeless people do enter from the bottom floor and go up and sleep on couches by the ice machines until kicked out.
Last time I stayed at Bally's (horseshoe) but I still prefer Flamingo with a strip view off course
@franciscovidabajasur1900 it must have been a renovated room at flamingo because I stayed in a non renovated room at flamingo once and it was super dirty. So dirty I slept in my clothes lol. The strip was A+ though. I think I posted a short of the view
Love this! I think we will give Horseshoe a try, how is the pool?
@@alysmalls horseshoe has the only pool with a deep end in Vegas. It was grandfathered in!
I was thinking on staying in Paris hotel in September of this year if you come across it before me please post…. Thank you
Yes I have stayed at Paris and also liked it! I have a video about it on my channel!
Good food at motion one the rooms are rundown carpets nasty. I got a huge sweet two bedroom big sectional two bath it was rundown. I was disappointed. I’ve been going to Vegas for the last 50 years I like Planet Hollywood for the gambling and food is good and you can literally walk across the streetand be in Cosmopolitan those are my two favorite casinos to stay at Cosmo has got really nice rooms and good food
Hold on “trams are free”?
You kinda look like Elisabeth Shue.
Not a jacuzzi tub
Paris is better :)
i agree, but their rates are not as affordable as Planet Hollywood.
Is it really? How so? I’ll be staying at the Paris in a couple weeks for six nights. I’ve heard mixed reviews.
I love Paris too! I also have a video of it on my channel ☺️
@@alysmalls Thanks, I will check it out.
I always chose my free comps for Paris my only issue is the sink clogs and the casino not good
The pools and the gym sucks. Sportsbook isn’t great. Way better if you don’t care about location.
This place is a dump. Worst one we have stayed at by far.
Tired of these people doing absolutely nothing to chase views for Adsense. They cheapen Las Vegas with these antics.
