    Hello from 2021. This is still my favorite Avalon design. So when I go to buy one I’ll be looking at the 2012 models as they are the most recent Avalon’s that I can get before they start looking weird.

      I have a 2011. My Brother has a 2010 Taurus. My Avalon is head and shoulders above his Ford. Even he admits it.

    Dude's completely CLUELESS and biased.
    The Avalon Limited is one of the best, most beautiful, most reliable, most comfortable sedans in the world.

    It’s 2020 and I just bought a 2012 Limited with 34K miles. These things LAST FOREVER. I’m going to drive this one for the next 10 years. I love how comfortable it is and I look for an excuse to take a drive.

    In the age of increasingly garish, over-the-top, overly stylized cars.
    I personally prefer the 2012 Avalon styling over the newer, more aggressively styled Avalon, though the newer ones certainly have a better interior

    Yeah a lot of people talking s*** about the Avalon but it's mighty funny I'm looking for one you can't find one want to know why cuz it's in everybody else's damn driveway

    "bland, boring design"
    The Avalon's SUPPOSED to be bland. Beauty on the outside doesn't matter. But truly, who could disagree with driving one of the _safest_, and *most reliable* cars?

  • @bumble144

    Does this guy know he is reviewing a Toyota Avalon? and why is they keep cutting away to the older model????

  • @toolazy2008
    @toolazy2008 Před 12 lety +1

    I bought an Avalon after looking at the new Camry. It is so comfortable, and soaks up the bumps in the road like nothing I've ever driven. On the Highway, on cruise control at 65mph, it gets 31 mpg. The driver's seat cushion on the Ltd model extends out and it's like sitting in an armchair, it really is so comfortable. I'm in my 40's and didn't think I'd ever buy an Avalon, but I'm glad I did. The new one will be even better with Safety Connect and heated rear seats.

    He needs to (1) know the difference between 2010 and 2011/12. (2.) Stop being so negative. Or maybe he is trying to get a spot on the new top gear show. The new 2013-17 avalon look to futuristic or bug like. If thats your style cool. But I like the 2011/12 the best out of all the body styles. Not to flashy to get robbed for and not so boring that people won't notice it. I have one and get complements on it all the time.

    Isn't there enough sporty cars out there today? I use to be each maker produced one or two cars for the older generation, Today ALL the cars are made for the younger crowd, 99% of the vehicles today ride like a buckboard! Not comfortable at all. Can the car manufacture PLEASE make a few cars for us older guys.

  • @wesleyadams719

    Well, I must be bland, boring, ect. Because my favorite cars are Toyota Avalon, Lexus ES, Lexus LS, Buick Enclave, Nissan Maxima, and evan Toyota Camry. Sorry, but Towncar, Crown Vic, Roadmaster, Sedan Deville, and Amanis are gone, We need a car to fill the pure luxury gap under 42K!

  • @95thRiflesOCI
    @95thRiflesOCI Před 12 lety +2

    His review is horrible, Comparing the luxury of this car to a lexus LS? hello? a more comparable car would be a lexus ES, plus a Chevy Malibu has nothing on this car, atleast mention the Impala.

    Bland? it's called "classy". LOL I wish they made the LS500 with this exterior design. At $37k, it's a bargain. And don't buy this car if you want "fun". It's almost Lexus smooth and comfy.

    If I were Toyota Motor Co. :
    2013 Avalon - XL, XLE, XLS, Limited, Hybrid (Wild guess on the trims. Not sure what they actually have for 2013,)
    XL and XLS get that three spoke steering wheel they're bragging about,
    XLE and Hybrid should have a two spoke steering wheel and a more luxurious grille.
    That way they can separate sport and luxury.

  • @djraulcee
    @djraulcee Před 12 lety

    i saw it too. the front grill is still too camry ish. they made it more sporty inside,steering wheel etc. but why? its supposed to be more on the luxury side. toyota created it for a more younger,sporty seeking crowd. that same sporty crowd can get the same and even more from a bmw.maybe even a nissan. toyota should of kept the interior less sporty and more luxurious. its basically a 2012 acura tl in a redesigned camry body

    So the ford Taurus is head and shoulders above the Avalon? I guess that's your head and shoulders under the ford looking for what's leaking and what's causing that engine light on and what's making that awful knock, while you wait for the tow truck to pull that peice of crap to junkyard. Seriously, how much did ford pay you for this review?
