- Two hybrid Ferraris and one of the fastest motor circuits in the UK. They both offer staggering performance but which one will lap Goodwood the fastest ?
The Ferrari 296 GTB in the first V6 Ferrari. I drive the Assetto Fiorano edition and experience the difference between Sport and Race modes. I then have my mind blown in the 1000 horsepower SF90.

Oh wow. I haven’t seen Goodwood done like that before!. I thought your laps were quick, especially the way it just dispatched the straights 😮. I thought they has shortened the main straight 😂. Then that professional drive. OMG!! Relentless.

Peter….another inspiring and frightening film…it makes me think how Tim took his SF90 out of the showroom and drove it home via a host of Italian and French roads without any problems and now he virtually daily’s it…that is also impressive. As for Goodwood…I think Ferrari Press Office needs to lend one of each car to test on the road for a week each…taking in Prescott, Shelsley Walsh, Castle Coombe, Thruxton and another comparison session at Goodwood…with a trip through London on a Friday teatime! 😀😀😀Stay safe, Richard.😎😎😎

Yet another HIT, brilliant. I never seen the Lavant Straight look so short in the SF90.🤭 Thanks to the pro driver. Makes you appreciate such fab cars, sorry to say EV will never replicate or replace in my perception.

I'm guessing in the fog of the adrenaline rush you forgot to tell us which was faster...or indeed which you prefer.
I think it was pretty obvious. The SF90 had a better driver and was much quicker 😜😂

It's all confidence! Owners don't want to wreck there 400k cars on road or track or someone else's car like ferrari! If you had a car that you can wreck without worrying about it you would be surprised how fast your capable off! God bless all🙏❤
Well that looked like great fun. It would have been interesting to see the pro driver take you out straight after in the 296 as a comparison! Makes you wonder what the SF90 GTO will be like!

Nice! Fabulous cars on a fabulous circuit. I’ve done a number of laps with professional drivers, you think you’re quick an then realise perhaps not so much :)

Loved the video,I’ve no chance of owning a Ferrari and probably less chance of ever fitting in an old mini ever again. They were brilliant like cars though,my mate had a minivan with a sunfloor in both footwells!👌🏻

I'm not really a Ferrari fan. I appreciate the engineering and technical stuff etc.
You have to say though, you know when a car is powerful and fast when accelerating...when Harry Metcalf (Harry's Garage) hits the throttle in an SF90 and immediately stops commentating, his face becomes more serious and he concentrates a lot more than normal. The SF90 is a Ferrari I'd love to own.

The yellow SF90 GTS that @harrysgaragevids had and took on the ferry to IOM racing circuit last year was a nice looking car. Nobody needs 1000BHP though, although @shmee150 who’s selling his SF90 uses it daily in London where he lives. It said V8 plus electric motors on each front wheel and one on the rear axil on Matt Watson with the drag race with the Porsche 911 Turbo S which is usually invincible but was beaten on everything including braking from 100mph. The Rimac Nivera has an electric motor on each wheel. The SF90 just on both front wheels and one near the rear axil.
If you think the SF90 is quick. Just wait till the updated version hits the roads later this year. It'll have at least another 100hp and the software will be smoother making it less spiky and easier to modulate just like the 296. It will be a mentalist....

I’ve been round goodwood in an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 race car with Darren turner driving. The corners and braking was more extreme for sure but I’m not sure the power and acceleration was! Unreal. Still hate the stupid hammerhead graphics!

Seems the Mini driver didn't get the memo. Aw well wait for the straight and then whoosh. Telling though watching the pro drive the SF90 and most owners will never know how fast their Ferrari is or could be.

Strange that the pro driver believed that the “lighter and nimbler” 296 would be the quicker car around Goodwood vs the SF90 - I don’t think Ferrari would to be too pleased to hear that the car that costs half as much as the other would be quicker on a “power” circuit like Goodwood where lightness isn’t much of an advantage !

296 for me ,beautiful car, the f90 is ugly and going by alot of reviews quite boring to dive unless your going flat out
