    The thing about bose is that they always manage to pack a good punch on a small package. Everyone else seems to be required to build their speakers bigger.

    Well call me crazy, but I am in this small niche of wanting great sound quality, volume, bass but also the smallest footprint to take it with and also water and dust proof to won't worry about anything at the expense of budget haha.
    Very impressed with the speaker, especially for it's size!

    Hey there. I wanted to know if you guys can also hear a white noise when the soundlink max volume is at 0. Volume is at 0 so there’s no music but I can hear this white noise. Doesn’t bother me but I just want to know if this is normal behavior. It’s very low volume.
    This is probably normal speaker behavior when it’s not complete quietness when volume is at 0. i have Never had a speaker this size.
    Thx

      I don’t remember mine doing that but it is definitely possible. I’ve heard lots of speakers in the past do this, probably nothing to worry about

    The Bose sounds a bit hollow. The spread is a bit wider, but the Soundcore sounds more dynamic with much better bass. I returned the Bose for its distortion with heavy bass. For me it’s still between the Boom 2 Plus and the Tribit Stormbox Blast.

    One of the best values in portable OUTDOOR speakers in its price range would be the W-KING X20.
    Is it the best sounding speaker? Maybe not, but at the louder volumes, it performs better than most, at a fraction of the cost.

      But it’s £200 cheaper? It’s not like I’m comparing a speaker that obviously going to be better than the Bose. In fact, the Bose should be double as good as the Soundcore, size is irrelevant

      These two speakers are not worlds apart from each other. They are both outdoor portable Bluetooth speakers, they are intended for the same job!
      To put it in terms you might understand, it’s like comparing a Range Rover to a G Wagon, YES the prices are different, YES they may be different sizes. BUT they are made for the same job, so yes of course it’s worth the comparison.

    I returned my Bose and ordered the soundcore, the Bose was distorting constantly even on stock EQ. Any bass heavy music and it would distort hoping the soundcore doesn’t do the same but at half the cost it will be hard to beat

    • @Hyper1555
      @Hyper1555 Před měsícem +3

      Distort?! It even has sub-bass! One of the best on bass, even with his size! Very impressed! Just don't turn it above 70-80% for normal listening and I have mine - 4 bass and upped the mids and highs to balance the excessive bass (which is great for outdoors)
