How does a 90watt Tribit storm box compare to a soundcore boom2 plus?
Both here for testing, the Tribit is much! clearer and more powerful, the bass is much more precise.
The mids are much more pronounced on the Tribit.
In direct comparison, the Soundcore actually has a very poor sound.
Visually you can argue, I think both have their right to exist.
This was the first video to actually shoe the size of the boom plus 2, i didn't know it was taller than the blast. However, the blast sounds noticeable better
Soundcore is beautiful but with ugly sound. Tribit is ugly but has beautiful sound

Having had the Stormbox Blast for 18 months along side Motion Boom Plus and now Boom 2 Plus, I would disagree with you, the difference is marginal but I would not categorise a Blast as portable unit due to its weight.

I bought two Tribits SB Blast because they pair and sound amazing.
I ended up with 2 because amazon lost my first one in delivery so they ended up sending me another that I received quickly. Ended up getting the first one i ordered like 3 weeks later 😂.
Ich habe Tribit, klingt Erwachsen, hat viel Drive, so wie etwas Club Disco.. Am besten ohne App Funktion, klingt noch klarer.. nur Bass up genügt .... Zu nah am Wand hast du noch fettere Bässe ... Boombox kann man nicht mit heim Hifi oder Pa box vergleichen, aber klingen schon sehr gut

Normal consumers only know jbl and maybe Harman other brands are unknown to most and see them as Alibaba knockoffs;)

Tribit sound Strom has more low deep thunder bass but anker soundcore boom 2 plus has uper bass thunder boomy bass
Yeah soundcore bass gets annoying above 60% volume, downside of boosting upper bass
If you spend £200 on a bluetooth portable, then you will use the tools supplied (parametric equaliser) to tune to your advantage, but certainly when testing on music with real instrument content, side by side the Boom 2 Plus, outshines the Stormbox Blast especially on 70's rock and 80's reggae/dub and dancehall. The Stormbox 2 had its day two years ago and is a very capable bit of kit, but it does sound dated now (to my ears anyway).
@@nebojsanestorovic1416I’m starting to think the same thing. The Boom 2 plus has been performing much better than my Tribit Blast. Both are new also. With the eq tweaked the Boom 2 plus is much more powerful at all volumes. Deep bass is nearly equal to my ears. This is listening indoors for reference around 50-60%. Maybe I got a defective Tribit, but the deep bass is very inconsistent. And it has to be turned up pretty high I get significant impact. I think too many people are focusing on the bad press with paid reviewers instead of putting energy into tapping into the potential of this speaker.
Tribit is the best bang per buck and the pound for pound champ 🏆

Owned only soundcore speakers for years there approach is more people centrix especially price/marketing from the soundcore pro plus yeah that one all the way up to the x600 soundcore is here to dominate one way or the other...Boom 2 plus design is better and superior mids and highs and theres a (9 band EQ)= more bass and clarity, Tribit has better sub bass scores no points for looks, mids and highs are okay.

I prefer the looks of the soundcore but the low frequency hits harder on the tribit. WTF soundcore…. I’m not buying soundcore cuz I want the deepest bass for my budget instead of shedding out $500 off my account for the JBL boombox 3

guys if you want deep bass these wont deliver even boombox 3 barely delivers try nova s50 soundbar with subwoofer it will destroy it in bass while costing less deep bass only can be felt indoors so if you want something small i think the nova s50 will destroy them

@@megakebab1702 only 40🤣🤣 and can barely hear it trust me the soundbar destroys it no difficulty the way it plays 40 hz is like soundbar playing 30hz and the soundbar does have bluetooth 5.3.
