For less money though, you can purchase 2 Boom2 & pair them together in TWS that’ll outperform the Bose. You’ll also have enough money left over to grill some meat items & have a few beers.😊

I was on the fence about getting Soundcore Boom 2 or Boom 2 plus (already own Motion 300, two Motion X500).. saw Boom 2 @ $99.99 + tax (free shipping since I have Amazon Prime).. portable and powerful enough for me.. Boom 2 plus is much bigger for my needs.. sad Soundcore doesn’t have multi-link to connect the different models.
I own multiple Skullcandy Terrain speakers and can connect four of them.. I wish Soundcore makes an update to make party-cast sort of similar.

@JaysStraightUpReviews Motion 300 and X500 is not part of the group.. only party cast models are supported.. Even if I have 3 or more X500 units.. it only does right and left mode, not partycast.. as you mentioned models that support partycast.. I am gonna guess it's similar to Skullcandy multi-link for Terrain speaker line.

Yes i compared it to enough speakers to say that it's a very good sounding speaker.
Boom 2 plus is boomy upper bass, doesn't have the highs and the stereo image of the max

Just went to my local Walmart,they got boom 2 SE for sale for 99.99. Box says 30 watts of power, my box says 80 watts of power.😅. Got to looking at it it has two woofers I don't think it had tweeters and I don't think it had lights.

Okay I broke down and bought one LOL you're basically buying a pro select that Walmart used to sell. slightly more Bass but it don't have the base to boom 2 has no lights 18 hour battery. Boom 2 definitely has more bass more highs because it's got tweeters don't seem like much of a deal at 99 bucks seems like you're getting short changed

Great to hear from you in South America! I have both speakers and the Charge 5 is a great speaker, but you get a much clearer, detailed and separated sound from the Bose Soundlink Max.
Man, fior what it's worth, you can save a little bit more and get the s1 pro. You can work with better bang for buck with otger speakers

I think the overall sound clarity and quality may give an advantage to the Bose. However, I don't like how the Bose can get sketchy at higher volume. The price difference is the real kicker.
The boom 2 is now $99 on Amazon. No brainer at this price.

Can you hear the noise from boom2? There are two boom2s, and when you turn on the power and listen to music, you can hear the wind and sound. If you listen to a song in a small voice, it makes a cracking sound and it cuts off right away…
I haven't noticed any whistling, wind or crackling.

If the Bose is more pleasing to listen to, then they can justify an inflated price, but nowhere near $400. $200 okay.
That's what I was saying. The bose speaker will do bad in sales since there are far more better options at even half the price as demonstrated in the video.
Yeah, the Max does sound very nice an dis a great speaker for listening to more detailed and involved music. I think $250 might be justified, but $400 is a lot under the circumstances.
