    I used this in my Tekno ET410 and guys at the track said that it was over kill but my car says otherwise and the runtime is very nice. I got nearly 15 to 25 mins out of it.

      Thanks for watching. I've been running Gens Ace for 4-5 years now, good to see they've come out with new, higher spec batteries.

    Have you thought about maybe trying out some of the smc graphine line of batteries, ive been thinking of getting them myself since they're even cheaper than the redline and seem to have similar performance

      I put two of these in my RC drag car, I run 8s 6000mah total. In a 1.8 second pass I will drop from 34.5 volts to to 24 during the pull only drawing 323 amps. That tells me the true discharge capacity is 35C constant. A far cry from the 130c rating. You're absolutely lying to people.

    I got a question I have the same battery 5100mah but for racing I am doing the lipo charging instead of the LIHV can I use the same mah setting to charge it at 5100 on lipo mode. I couldn't find information about it and I guess protek batteries say go lower but nothing about the gens ace. I did charge it at 5100mah before on lipo mode and it ran fine it didn't do anything so I don't know. I wanted to ask to make sure

    I'm using a Hitec RDX1 Pro. What should my Target Volt be for a 6000mah 7.6v LIHV Redline Gens Ace shorty Pac??

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Před 3 lety

      You can charge it up to 4.35v/cell. I think the RDX1 Pro has a setting for LiHv.

    I'm wondering how these will last as i always hear that a battery with more than 120 C will loose it punch rather quick.
    What are your thoughts and experience Razor RC ?

    • @RazorRC

      not my experience, I haven't seen any downside to running high C batteries

    Have you ever used Zeee batteries? We haven’t started racing yet, so we have been price conscious, but looking for ones with a better C rating than the Traxxas ones.
    Yes, we are newbies. :-)

    • @RazorRC

      I haven't used those, but heard they were OK. Ovonics are considered pretty good for a budget battery too.

      Your BEC in the esc may not be able to handle regulating the HV from the battery.

      @LegendsPizzaCo Před 3 měsíci

      Yes you don't have to charge them to 4.35 if your charger can even go that high. I use hi voltage too and jjsy charge them as a lipo and charge to 4.2

    how could 5 mm bullets handle over 20 c 120 amp let alone over 130c 130x 6000mah =780 amp sound dodgy

  • @DandSCreations
    @DandSCreations Před 3 lety

    Piss poor for drag racing. My setup drew 323 amps and voltage would sag down to 25 volts from 35.. dangerously low. The C rating is trash
