"WHEN I REALISED THE WEAKNESS OF MY FLESH, IT DISGUSTED ME" - Cybernetic Creed of some sort, probably
"I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine."
@@BaronVonMott Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither and you will beg my kind to save you.
But I am already saved. For the Machine is Immortal.

“Even in death, I serve the Omnissiah.”
Does this not come with new cybernetic/machine city art as well or did I miss something/ Seems like an odd exclusion if so.

this is one of the reasons i love paradox, they connect with youtube creators who are fans of the game and have them help from time to time, plus it's also a sign of good failth

@@Mamorufumio Yes, i love it soo much
The upkeep of the arc furnace does seem rather high. I hope there will be some sort of preview that lets a player know what the output of a fully built-up arc furnace would be, to determine if the construction in a system is profitable or not. I prefer to focus on playing the game without having to slow down a multiplayer match to calculate every system's worth. I really don't want to get yelled at by other players for that.
It does seem high, but it is entirely popless alloy production, without any tax/influence from market fees and price fluxing, I think it'l be fine, but not the best option
i do get where you are coming from. Calculating a systems potential should be as simple as 'lots of planets = good' and its not like you restricted to only 1 arc furnace so if you find a better system you can just build another one so you shouldn't have to worry to much about its placement.
as for the upkeep yeah its high but the potential is even higher. The largest natural systems have 15 bodies however i use 10 bodies for the calculations as 10 body systems are far more common. If each planet produces 4 minerals and 2 alloys you would get 80 minerals and 40 alloys just base production (this is including the 100% bonus from the arc furnace). Dont forget about tech, engineering tech can give up to an additional 80% minerals from mining stations so that would boost the yield to: 144 minerals and 40 alloy. However if you are really lucky and get cybrex you can get an additional 100% bonus to all stations: 288 minerals and 80 alloy. Even without the cybrex mining hub it still produces a large amount of resource in a system which only has 10 celestial bodies.
I imagine that its intended you'd pay the income at least in part with a dyson swarm. Depending on how these kilostructures building permissions are set up, it might be possible to build both in the same system, which would allow the arc furnace to boost the dyson swarm for a minimal energy output of at least 180
@@dkall8101 I found a pulsar star with 3 energy, 3 engineering and 7 physics yesterday. I wish I could have put a Dyson swarm on it
Red King advisor voice please 🗣️🗣️🗣️
I'd be here for this

😢@@isafleaderi will buy a DLC of his advisor voice
I'd pay money for that
Seems like it would be a great fit for the Grand Archive DLC
To rise, Virtual
Endless Space 2 reference, nice.

Thank you Machine Spirit for our safe arrival!
The Adeptus Mechanicus and the Necrons, all in one DLC....awesome
PARADOX needs to bring forth a(n official) RED KING Advisor Voice
That first background OST sounds like its from Cyberpunk2077, pretty neat!
The new OST is SO GOOD! Some fantastic tracks in there.
Or more like the cult of Mars, Praise be the Omnissiah!!!🙌🏻🤖
besides machine age im most excited for that archive at the end, being able to reproduce space fauna gonna have some amazing synergies. im assuming amoeba and tyanki are going to cost food to make so agricultural based societies gonna have fun, i imagine the origin that has you colonize through tyankis is going to contribute, you can make bubbles a family, probably gonna be able to resurrect some of your killed ones if you into zombies
I'm going to try out the virtual ascension one first (synthetic fertility). I think that one is the coolest origin of those three.
Aren't virtual, nanite and modular are machine only? I really hope they aren't, but the way they are presented seems to heavily imply that
The specialized paths are unfortunately only for empires that start as machines.
@@user-iq5fw6fr3r Considering there is an entire origin about doing virtual as a bio empire, I am pretty sure they are available to bio empires as synthetic ascension paths.
@@TheNarrator6020So if I return machines to my organic city, not even by promoting machines would I be able to access that
An update to what I said based on ep3o's recent video you can at the least get the virtual trait as an empire that starts organic with one of the advances gov choices. Possibly something similar for the nanite or modularity traits. You do not however gain access to the tradition tree. Just the trait on your species.
I'm actually an Overtunend Biological player and have recently discovered Psyionics, but I guess I'll be trying out Cybernetic or Synthetic from 7 May onwards. I'm really looking forward to playing Tall with Virtual and Sovereign Guardianship
Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you.
Cybernetic creed, honestly, just seems absolutely insane for a origin. It has many many civics, AP's, and bonuses just built in for free. I feel like it will 100% be a meta build in some way.
Free civic parliamentary systems
Free Ascension perk Cybernetic ascension
Free bonus trait to all species for extra production, research and unity
better research lab (worth 3 researchers w/ amenities and unity) that is upgradeable
and a free, scaling, building that gives .25 to base resources, not even a multiplier, to start.
As well as a quest chain with rewards? It's just insanely stacked.
Thats the power of the Omnissiah for you.
0:51 Paradox putting the pointing wojak meme into the game art mends my soul lol
Can't wait to start the The Cult of the Micro-Omnisiah.
What a fantastic video Red King.
Very hype to become a fallen empire
Seit vielen Jahren mein meistgespieltes Spiel
It will be fun to go back to a non modded stellaris for a few.
Music at 3:20
I can't wait to hear full version, this is something else! I wonder, who composed it.
And there, after trying to figure out what civilization i will play first after release, i suddenly want to roleplay as mining machines just because of this track and it's mood.
I remember my first MP game together with my friend back in 2018-ish. War was declared on us by stronger enemy, and while my friend's technologically advanced civilization struggled through every battle, it was my cheap machine-mined space buckets in bulk to save the day, once they finally came with their tier 1 engines. We laughed at the sight of them littering the battefield with their husks and somehow making the enemy retreat, proceeding to officially name it "operation space-trash". Good times.
It's time to relive those times.
Fascinating origins indeed. My excitement for the DLC grows with each passing day
Arc Furnace is something I've wanted to see for a while. It would be nice to have some kind of structure to your empire, with central hubs specialized on certain resources and benefiting from proximity, etc. Like, think Energy Grid, but for whole systems/sectors.
I hope to see them go in that direction for regular empires.
I'm excited. Thanks for the hard work.
Would love to see some effort put into the original species in the future. (I know you guys plan WAY ahead so this might already be on the radar) Something like Origins or Civics or what have you specifically for Avians, Reptilians, Mammalians, etc. Several of the new species types have specific stuff but none of the original species seem to. Something like a High Flying Civic for Avians that makes Gas Giants habitable. Or a Cold Blooded Trait for Reptilians (I imagine this as a +10% to Hot Habitability and -10% to Cold). Or w/e it's just my 2 cents.
P.S. Mentioning the Gas Giants made me wonder if we'll ever get a Gaseous Species....
I hope the background music will be part of Machine Age OST, this shit slaps
WE LOVE YOU REDKING! THE LORE-STORY-SKELE-MAN!
I'm looking forward to this DLC! I believe it has the potential to be the most valuable DLC ever released for Stellaris ✨
I wonder how the ritualistic implants would change as you become more attuned to on of the spiritualistic factions or embrace all of them equally (if the bonuses are decent or broken when you finish the origin’s story). I also wonder how much of a story this origin would have along with synthetic fertility. Also, I did see that cybernetic creed does not allow for egalitarian ethic, but it could be a very good ethic for this origin since you get factions pretty early even without the parliamentary civic.
I hope the different factions in Cybernetic Creed are a hint of an Internal Politics rework in the making.
Probably the Cybernetic Creed. Love seeing the evolution of a civ over time.
i have always used machine empires, i love em, this entire dlc is a dream come true, cant wait to dig into it :D
🗣️my lord
is that pre 2010 youtube techno music? i love it lmao
Thanks red king
From the Moment I understood the Weakness of my Flesh.
From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine. Your kind cling to your flesh, as though it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call the temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal… Even in death I serve the Omnissiah.
To fuse is divine. Augmentation is worship.
Praise the Omnissiah!
I'm def going for the Cybernetic Creed, in the name of the Omnissiah
Am i the only one that things the male alien in the trailer or whatever looks like Todd Howard?
This collab has made me want a Red King advisor in-game
I am woundering if we can pick driven assimilators civic as individualistic machines ...That would be cool.
The creator collabs are great.

Synthetic is my goal ❤
My King, thank you for this preview of the new origins!
-Yours truly,
Lord Cheese.
Remember when we all avoided station bonus tech like a plague? No more shall we, since arc welders benefit insanely from that
M'lord 🗣🗣🗣
So only the old synthetic ascention will be available for synthetic fertility, but there is no way to follow the path of one of the new ones? Virtuality would look very appropriate here.
Thank you for the video
Red King must've spent a weekend at Paradox
I still don't really agree with the limit we get for the Kilo structures. But hopefully I'll be wrong when we try it out
They seem to be meant to boost tall empires by making the few systems they have worth lots. Letting wide empires spam 100 arc furnaces and dyson swarms defeats that purpose.
Give us more building slots if you want to block FOUR of them with special buildings. I dont even take the Dread Armies for my evil necrophage empires anymore, simply because I dont want to lose two whole building slots.
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
"Incredible quantities of recourse"
The system is outputting 20 energy, but it costs 100 to run.
So your trading 100 energy, for 96 minerals and 46 alloys a month.
With a cost of 4500 alloys and 6000 unity to upgrade to max, that's going to be the biggest waste of time to build in the game.
Needs a major buff before release.
Have it produce large amounts of alloys and minerals, rather than having every planet in the system produce tiny amounts of them.
How does that even make sense?
Why would building a massive structure around a molten world, have other planets making minerals?
The kilostructures are both made really bad by their insane upkeep. Dyson Swarm eats so many alloys that even if you build it on a 5 or 6 base energy star it is arguably more effective to just sell those alloys.
I can see two usecases for kilos:
1: Trading alloys for science with a dyson swarm on a science deposit star
2: Building a tier 1 arc furnace to create the perfect system for a mining habitat
Is that a reference to the game cube world or just something else?
So is nanite ascension strictly only for machine empires or can humans that ascend to synths choose them
That's my question too! And probably other players who choose the synthetic ascension for their organic empire have the same question as well.
An ascension is already pretty life-changing for your species, so going all the way to virtual after not being used to being Synths would probably be too dramatic of a change after millennia of being biological and just becoming machines.
@@alpacalover0pretty sure a form of virtual ascension for biological empires has been confirmed because of an origin being based on it
@@baseupp12 The origin for it has you going directly into that from being organics as a necessary measure, and it's been said that it won't be 1-1 the same but that it'll have elements of it.
yeah I already love synthetic fertility, I just rp as the humans from nier with the white chlorination disease, faced with no choice but to become machines
Nice
Ok so we got:
-"Ever since ive understood the weakness of my flesh"
-the matrix but your the bots and people
-hehe big furnace go brbrbrbr
I’m legit just watching these because of the red king
I want to be excited for the arc welders origin, but according to the DD the upkeep is rather high
I am going virtual! Praise the firewall, for it keeps m my iden identity intake.
Does this not come with new cybernetic/machine city art as well or did I miss something/ Seems like an odd exclusion if so.
Arc Welders
All Hail the King
Why do we have to wait until Tuesday😫
Wait but what about that cool black hole looking ship
no new shipsets?
I had to do a double take hearing his voice.
Hold up, any empire can build an arc furnace?
Yes
Very unique and creative origins. Well done!
"WHEN I REALISED THE WEAKNESS OF MY FLESH, IT DISGUSTED ME"
Looking backward to reginonal pricing!
Cybernetic Creed is going to my first admech run. PRAISE THE MACHINE SPIRIT!
The Red king 🗿🗿
we will only rejoice if you put a discount on all your overprice buggy dlc.
The arc welder will be the salvation of my ever dwindling military might the last few wars has been hell on my fleets. With the addition of the arc welders will also have economic benefits to my people our mining colonies will have an increase in mineral production and workers will be able to visit their home worlds that and the colonies will
have an increased amount of workers who would jump at the chance to get to work on the Arc welders. Welcome to a new age of industrial supremacy.
Челики опять сделали чтобы все играли за Роботов
I love that they're giving the machines their on specific origins. But I feel like organic hive minds are getting left out. I mean how hard would it be to add organic type spaceships for a high mind species. There you have models for an organic type of spaceship from one of the crisis.
Strange to see someone sharing my own opinion
The last origin doesnt sound that hot. You can get plenty of mineral resources. Having 100 minerals in a system at the cost of 4500 alloys with a 10 years build time sounds not that good espcially since you give it up for an other origin. Just make it a baseline megastructure available to only synthetic and cybernatic empires.
It's already going to be available without the origin, the origin just exists like the other Megastructures one to give you the ability to test it out early.
@@alpacalover0 Ooh that makes sense then
Every Game should be Incorporating the Content Creators like Stellaris does :)
5 additional arcwelders... YEEZ

Adeptus mechanicus is coming Red King, you will have soon new cool stories to tell
After all this time they came up with more machines ffs
I was here
First build the Arc-Furnace then put down Habitats and never worry about minerals again :D
Arc wielder Void born, Letz GO!!!!
I do not plan on buying this DLC, but I am most excited for the Adeptus mech- I mean, Cybernetic creed origin.
Just a feedback. Don't shit on previrous content to put the new one in context. For me i just heard. It was shit so far, but trust me itll be nice from now on, like bruh.
Why is every Stellaris youtuber British??? xD
Only 3 origins?? and you are already proud of that? many of these origins are just dumb and not even good enough to change your playstyle.
