Another beautiful video. I could listen to you all day! He’s a wonderful pup. While you were first walking him and he was looking for affection, I was holding my rescued Great Danes paw. He just turned one in November. Have a calm and peaceful night Valia. 🌃

These guys must have had a decent life before they were kicked on the streets, otherwise they'd behave differently, don't you think? I feel like I want scream at people to pet him if they ignored him walking by. This is how I feel when I walk the longest residence of our shelter usually a pitbull blend with their "adopt me" harness and I try to make eye contact with passers by so that they will see him, and reach down and pet him , but they just walk by and ignore us. It disgusts me that people can be so heartless, even when looking at a fluffy, sweet puppy. Like in Greece, there are many countries where there are so many street animals, and yet the elite of those countries still pay thousands of dollars for purebred animals. There's too many injustices in the world. Sometimes I can't stomach it all. God bless you for giving Alex a wonderful, precious life.

VALIA, THE VALIANT DOG RESCUER!! I love your no nonsense, no bullshit attitude! Let's all rise to traveling the globe for homeless dogs and save them all!! That would be a great exercise for people here in the US, less time to think about ourselves, and you know where that goes....Alex is a very handsome dog, just love everything about him!! It's annoying that people don't respond on the street, even though, you don't want him to ask for pats, still, some people are completely oblivious to animals, when animals are the most deserving and innocent here on this planet, both wild and domesticated. I relate more to animals than people, if my friends don't respond to my animals, I have to say, I don't think as highly of those people. Got a great sign for you or welcome mat, "Animals welcome...people tolerated". That's my motto. Much Love to You Valia, your videos are so touching but also, real about how humans should smarten up and help out this gigantic problem all over this planet....we created dogs and cats, so let's do something about the problem we created !!💟☮☯🕉

I know what you mean about dogs like Alex that are hard to re home. I adopted a pit bull/black lab mix eleven years ago and the way people look at him on the streets makes me want to cry. Like Alex, my dogie, Kesser, loves people and wants affection from everyone he sees. but I’ve been told that ppl here in Greece don’t like black dogs and ppl actually yell at me to keep my dog in the yard. My poor boy, he just wants a touch, a massage/ belly rub. We recently moved to a new village and my poor boy has no friends to play with. It makes me very sad. I will move back to my previous village in the mountains where he had many stray friends to run with, to play with. Dogs are social animals, pack animals that need to be with friends. He is now 12,5 years old and I thought as he got older he wouldn’t need to get love from everyone he met but not true. He will be a lover until the day he goes to dogie heaven. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Thank you for everything you do and for having such a big heart. I can never understand how humans can just walk by or ignore anyone or anything that clearly needs help. There must be a numbness in their heart but thankfully there are people like you ....and me out there that don't just walk by. My golden retriever was an Amish puppy mill mother. The way you described his search for love whenever you go on a walk, looking discreetly but always hopefully for someone who will be welcoming, is exactly what she does too. And it kinda breaks my heart. I never would have thought before her that people would reject a friendly golden but many do. She’s still sad.

I adopted a dog who lived on the streets of romania for many years with no real contact to humans.It took 8 month until he permitted me to touch him. He acts much the same way like this puppy. He is a perfect dog and i think that type of dog and their history, they never forget where they came from.My dog never forgets where he found food once and he checks these spots always.At the same time he adjusts to everything, which is amazing.When i saw him first it was also his innocence which hit me most.
