Your philosophy on letting dogs be who they innately are is something we all should remember. Dogs (and animals in general) have distinct personalities just like humans. Let them be authentically themselves.
He's been through ALOT. You can't remove a person from their history. Sometimes they can forget the past, but it always is part of their development and experience forms us, even if and when we change. This philosophy she has is the only fair one to have regarding any living soul, animal or human. The American obsession with "rags to riches" stories and fairytale outcomes weighs heavy on those who accept help when they are destitute, as there's that huge demand and expectation on the other hand, some need of being repaid with unrealistic results that when unsatisfied risks being oppressive all over again.

How that poor, innocent baby survived in that state is a testament to his will to survive despite the neglect he experienced at the hands of people. How anyone could just walk past him and not feel compelled to help us beyond my comprehension. It’s a wonder he could still see. He just seemed like he had lost all hope. Thank you for what you did for him. He now has a chance at a better life. Thank you for that.

He is so darned cute, we have to remember everyone is flawed and has little 'foibles' make their personality..... Animals are the same, and we love them as we get to know them.... The state of poor Julian sickened and angered me. I am so thankful you rescued him Valia, poor poor baby was trapped, it probably hurt him to move much. I think he may have been groomed a long time ago and remembered how he felt after because he stood so still for 5 hours! I hope he will always feel as good as he does now, just being himself 💖

I struggle to believe no feelings could be developed towards this lovely dog before grooming. He seems adorable at first sight, just a victim of neglect, abandon and probably abuse, like so many of us. Thank God we are still lovable underneath our potential rough surface 🐶❤️

Yes, this channel should have hundres of millions of views. It's not just that Valia helps them and saves their lives, but their lives are made meaningful living in our memories.
So sad, hard to see a face and living being under all that dirty, matted fur. This was similar to how I found my Pommie mix on the streets of LA. Like you w/Julian, I didn't want to get attached b/c I already had two elderly dogs at home. Also, I was struggling myself. Nevertheless, Friday stayed, and he was the best boy he could be.💕🐾🌈
Amazing. A friend of mine found a bright red pom hanging around garbage in the alley. She adopted it. Texas and California have abandonment problems and hoarders. Major.

I stopted breathing in shock and began to cry when I saw Julian. Humans! How can you??? How is anybody able to see his misery and do....nothing?? Nothing at all?? Not even call help from someone who would help??? This is disgusting! Humans are disgusting!!

This is what happens when love disappears from a life. This was painful to listen to because creatures that truly have known love, do NOT do well when it goes missing on their life. Even in his decrepit state, I could see and feel his sense of loss and desire to just give up. I'm glad you took a chance on him. He deserved a chance to love and be loved again.
