Classic vibes, Modern performance. This Don hardy 875hp Lsx powered 1966 Chevy Chevelle reins kind of the Muscle Car . Its original small block replaced with reliable smooth modern horsepower! One key to success with an automotive build is to start with good raw material, and this Chevelle was a rusty example when the owner brought it to us. Once the Chevelle was in the hands of ProtouringTexas.com. Our crew completely disassembled the drivetrain, suspension, interior, and wiring. The body went thru multiple phases of metal transformation to represent its excellent condition today. With all other components removed, fabrication began with fitting the massive Tremec Magnum F series manual transmission into the Chevelle's tiny transmission tunnel. No easy task, but well worth the effort. With the LSX/T56 combination fitted, a SPEC chassis from Roadstershop was added, including adjustable Fox shocks, powder coated red. The stiffened chassis was bolted to the body after a complete undercoating from Lizard skin. This horsepower level requires the ability to slow everything down fast, that's why a set of Pro+ 6 piston caliper, 14 inch rotor stopping gear were used from Baer Brakes. With everything installed we could move to exhaust, Ultimate headers was first on the list to find a set of high quality header for the LSX. They sent a perfect pair of headers for fitment and we went to work modifying the mandrel bent stainless steel parts from Stainless Brothers to complete an exhaust worthy of an art show installation. Completing the drivetrain, we used a Wegner Performance accessory drive along with a wiring harness and Terminator ECU from Holley Performance, all controlling a billet dual fuel pump, stainless vaporworx tank from Rickstanks. The interior of this Chevelle features many custom touches, leather all in a bright red color, including bucket seats and center console. Instrumentation from Dakota Digital fill in the factory modified dash with modern technology and classic vibes. Badass billet wheels from Billet specialties, full custom Bluetooth audio, and air conditioning that's upgraded with a Sure-fit Vintage Air system and smooth firewall, gives this car the whole 9. #Cleod9

Thank you! glad you enjoyed it
Great Work Eric !
Omg it's perfect 🔥🔥🔥
this thing is incredible!
LAWWWWWD! Great work guys!
Good stuff
So good!!
My Goodness
L.O.V.E. This car. I have only 2 dislikes about it. First one is nitpicky, on the chassis, the single visible clamp/screw at 6:17 and 6:21 securing the wires ( about 9 inches in front of the passenger side muffler) should have been hidden like the rest of the immaculate wiring.
Second thing is a pet peeve. As a life long Car audio competitor, I hate when people use the speaker grill that came with the speakers. It is my preference that in a very high level build like this one that you would always create custom grills that would not change the look of the car if you were to change the speakers to a different model.
My words here are meant to bee 100% constructive and again, I absolutely love this car!!!
Badass 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
woooooooooooooooooooooooooow
🔥🔥🔥
😍
How can you not tell that grey paint matches with red interior
Beautiful car but the 1970 is still the best looking!
Agreed, this is a beautiful car, and the 69 Chevelle is the Best looking! lol 🤣
How much?
Other than the red frame peaking out from the bottom of the car I LOVE everything about it. Just not a fan of the red frame
Yes agreed its something you don't want to draw your eye to
To much Black for me but the car is cool.
