- Two things every shooter wants… more rounds and a better grip!
Lenny shows you how to get both.
The Pearce Grip Magazine Extensions are our item #2180 and can be found here: www.glockstore.com/Magazine-Ex... - Jak na to + styl
Bought a 26 from a friend last week. Had planned on adding these. Thankfully he had already installed them on all three my mags...bonus!!
I love Lenny's videos. He is an amazing teacher and communicator.
@Kosem72 I know, Lenny can sell ice to an Eskimo
AND BUSINESS MAN!
best add you can do on compacts and sub compacts.. should be standard issue for Glock 43s.. I have them installed on all my G 43 magazines... thanks Lenny!
Great presentation Lenny, feel like I'm in the room with you and you're talking to me personally.
I am now interested in this particular product for my Glock 43...thank you for the demonstration!
I just purchased this grip for my g27. Pretty good
Great demonstration of grip extensions and "how to install."
I loved watching this video ! ! !
THANK YOU VERY MUCH ! ! !
Love my 12 round Glock 29 mags and backup Glock 20 mags!
I bought a Pearce +2 mag extension for my Gen 3 Glock 26 and it adds 3rds so 13 +1 total capacity!
Lenny Thank😀You my
Friend 🙋🇺🇸....
Going thru the process
Of deciding 26 OR 27 to back up my 45 ACP model 30....
Not really needed as the 30 is FANTASTIC just looking for an excuse to buy another
GLOCK 😀
Which one did you end up getting? Cant go wrong with either of them!
I bought the plus one extension. The stock spring was then too weak to feed. I found an aftermarket stiffer spring. No more failure to feed in my Glock 36.
That's odd it's the same exact spring used in the Glock 19 mags without an issue to feed.
Always very informative thank you sir from Trinidad and Tobago.after how many rounds should I service my glock 19.?
Bought 3 of the Pierce plus 2 extensions from you, and I’m wondering about the spring - the plus 2 Vickers extension for the G43 comes with a different spring to change out. Will the factory springs in the G26 mags suffice with the Pierce plus 2 extensions?
Thanks! Some good info here...
Excellent explaination
Love these things
I need a +7 shot baseplate extension for my 10 round G26 magazine... Also looking for a +23 shot extension, too
Good for the 36 too.
What model is the California legal one with the texture, I looked at the PG26 but on the picture its smooth without the texture
Great illustration how to do the install.
For the GLOCK G30, I don't see a XL +0 on your website. Does the Glock G30 only have one size for the +0 grip extension on a G30?
When are you guys going to have a Glock 44 magazine
I just went back to watch this video and mention that there isnt a 10 round mag limit in CA anymore praise be
Huge Hands Hans
THANK ALMIGHTY GOD
Yes, and it sucks
For now.
@doug phil lmao shutup 😂
I thought that got overturned in appeals court?! Man fuk Commiefornia ! Yall need to move to a Red State. Just leave your bat-$hit crazy politics behind please
Hi, I like the sights you use on the glock in the video. What brand are they to buy?
Im glad the Glock store moved out of CA. and to a nice red state I have never been to Tennesee but I hear its nice there . I was in CA for 1 day in the 90s and I was not impressed with it back then I could imagine how it is now yikes !
Will these extensions work for the 26 gen 5?
I have two new G30s. I can reproduce this issue with all 11 factory 10 round magazines. The seating issue happens whether there is a round in the chamber or not.
With the slide closed, a fully loaded mag will not insert. With all of the mags, removing one round will work fine every time. Please advise...
just installed the PGG4+ on my 26 mags. is it normal for there to be a slight bulge at the bottom when theyre fully loaded? maybe a mm or 2 over the ledge of the grip extension. im assuming its completely normal.
I was wondering same thing any problems with it feed like that for you ?
Have these on my 27, work pretty good, pain to install without the tool.
It's the worst, I ended up taking a dremel to one of the mag floor plates because the insert got stuck sideways after the spring shot it back after my screwdriver slipped haha
I did those on my G27 too. The first magazine had spring going across deck, LOL! Second two got better. Did I not use tools and wasn’t horrible.
Great video but these things pinch my finger upon firing. I would use the oem extension or a hyve.
Does the x grip work for 23 to 27 magazine 13 rd 40?
Do you get the pinch like done other extensions
Good Morning. Friend a question: Pearce grip for the G27 that changes the shooting capacity, is it recommended? Is there any problem? Can failures occur? Which Pearce Grip should be used? PG 2733? Others? Thank you. Excellent video.
I don't know what you're saying but stick to Glock 12 rd OEM mags is you want more capacity, more grip and something reliable.
Thanks
Anyone else have any problems with the mag extension wanting to come off over time with a full mag? I noticed a small gap on mine that happens
How come my slide doesn't lock back when the mag is empty with the plus 2 peirce grip extension in a 15 round mag on glock 19? So 15 plus 2. But are you supposed to get a longer spring with that or is the 15 round spring what your supposed to use????
Yes! You'll need a G17 mag spring which will solve your problem. The stock 19 spring isn't strong enough anyway so I always use G17 springs in my 19 especially with extensions. Go too Johnny Glocks UTube site under Magazines Matter.
I'm surprised that one would use the same spring with the extensions...
I’ve found that the tiny nub on the Pearce doesn’t hold it on. It rides over it with enough pressure vs the oem glock nub. What do you think
I have both i'll have to test them on my next range day. I've been using the g26 with the xgrips and a g19 mag but wanted to try something smaller for spring.
I put two on some spare mags and can only seem to get another round in. Everything is seated. I don't get it.
What is the reliability on these? Is the factory spring strong enough? I don’t want to change to an aftermarket spring, but would like more capacity in my 43 and 26. Is it as reliable as the Glock +2? Both my 43 and 26 are used for carry and I do not want to sacrifice reliability 1 ounce.
Stick with the glock +2 and add wolf +10% springs and it will feel the same as oem mags.
@@zack6892 the same spring is used in Glock 19 mags, I see no need for increased tension, in fact you barely get 12 in the OEM 12 rd mag as is and Glock wouldn't still be selling them if it wasn't sufficient. If Glock does 1 thing right, they make a reliable gun.
@@LAYDAWOOD6 i prefer the wolf springs I've used the 19 as I have both the 26 and 19 and sometimes after adding extension the mags will rattle when fully loaded it wasn't every time but often enough to bother me. I run +10% springs in any mag running a +2 and never have that rattle plus no ftf in over 1000 rounds so win win.
@@zack6892 gotcha, that's the culprit of rattling mags?
@@LAYDAWOOD6 it's hard to say really some 19 springs didn't cause it and it wasn't specific to any mag/spring combo just seemed to happen randomly with running +2 with a 19 spring. Sometimes even without the extension I've gotten mags that rattle but yes the +10% always seemed to fix it maybe from the extra tension I guess. Kinda weird the rattle never cause any feed issues or stove pipe so I guess it's mostly cosmetic but it bugs the hell out of my when carrying concealed.
I bought 2 of the PG 39 extensions for my Glock 26, believing I would get 3 more rounds capacity. It didn't happen, it only gave me 2 more, is there a shorter magazine spring that would allow another round to be loaded?I'm a bit disappointed because all the hype says it gives 3 with the 9mm. but it didn't for me with either magazine.Gabby
Gabby B yea I only got 1 round in there with my g27 40 s&w. Disappointment is an understatement!
Scott i second that, very dissapointed
With Pachmayr on my 26 is the same. 2 not 3
It's truly not possible it's approximately .25" more length of mag per round.
I prefer the G19 mag with the X Grip. Works great, the Pearce has a lip on the front that is sharp and will pinch your pinky. Took them all off and buy the G19 or the factory Glock +2.works so much better than Pearce.
I run the 12 rd OEM mags because I don't trust that they'll never be a failure to reload/ delay with a grip slipping up. It works for many people but I stick to the 12 rd for that reason.
I heard that using a G27 mag for a G26 mag will be good enough although is a different caliber, it will add 2 rounds.
Incorrect.
with sub compacts im a middle finger shooter so i have more upwards grip and only two fingers on the grip
Fascinating! I may have to try that!
5:15 Giggity
Lenny. My 15 rd & 22 rd OEM mags have a hard time seating in the mag catch on my .40 S&W CMMG Banshee 200 AR style pistol. It only happens when I load the mags to full capacity, which is also a bitch to do. I wanted to ask you if you think that if I add the plus 1 or plus 2 extension on either of these mags, and just load them to their "normal" full capacity, will they seat easier on the mag catch? I think the springs in the mags don't have a lot of give when loaded to full "regular" capacity, & maybe the extra space of the extension will allow some flex on the spring so that I don't have to muscle the mag to seat on the mag catch.
Your feedback is very much appreciated. Awesome channel too.
Vic
Correct.
Awesome video! Have been considering purchasing a Glock 26 and adding mag extensions. I would like a nice smaller glock to conceal carry. A lot people say why not get a 19 if I'm going to add mag extensions? Well the 26 has a shorter barrel which I prefer when I carry.
Glock19 is kinda of a better option but to each his own
@@IMABEAST191the 19 is a hair too long to conceal while I’m sitting for extended periods of time. The 26 is just right. I would rather have the 19 for a serious engagement, but the 26 gives me confidence it won’t let me down.
I am considering adding the 26 to my collection whereby swapping out my Shield Plus, but I absolutely love my Glock 19 Generation 5 MOS.
I couldn't agree more!
@@warrenb8228 amen brother!
Ok what’s the deal with only being able to fit 1/2 rounds into the + 2\3 Pearce extensions for the Glock 26/27? Anyone have answers??
It's not really possible, it's just a selling point. 1 rd typically equals a .25" additional mag length. This mag extension is sloped, so you measure the shortest length of the extension and get your answer. Again this is an estimate of additional mag length needed per rd based on my research.
G27 40 cal is the way to go cause you can buy a conversion barrel to shoot 9mm but you'll need G26 mags & a 9mm ejector.
the 40 ejector works fine. ran 1000 rounds no issue. g27 with 9mm conversion barrel and 9mm mags.
I like the Strike Industries magazine extentions alot better. They are better built and they use the same pattern that is on the Glock grip on there magazine extention.
Slk Ric I use the SIG extension on my G42. makes it fit perfectly plus adds more capacity. stumbled upon it in a random video.
x ThrobbinHood
will it work on my G43 magazine's? And what's the price?
*****
I use to have Pearce extentions on my G43, but I didn't like them. I sold them and now I have Strike Industries extentions on my glock now. They fit and look better than the Pearce ones.
They make those for the 26 or just the 42 and 43?
I only trust Glock OEM for reliability, just as most police departments.
2023 : solved my issue instead of caring a Glock 19 in my 26
I have done two things to be safe.....first I moved out in the country, to far for walking. Second, I bought a house in a gated retirement community, old people aren't worth bothering. But if that changes, I have the management permission to shoot varmints, no matter how many legs they have.
Can you just buy an extra clip with the extension and extra capacity?
You can, but they can be rather expensive and overkill as well as being very hard to conceal
This allows for an extension at a low profile and low cost, as well as added grip for some models
Also really good for guns like the 19 or smaller, if your hands can't fit it, this does wonders and offers hardly any bulk
Anyone have any issues with these extensions on G26 Gen 5? Can add 2 no problems, no luck on adding 3 unless I jam it in there. But doing so will not load unless the slide is locked back.
Glock makes a 12 rd OEM mag. The best part is, that that same spring is used in ALL 3 Glock OEM mags listed below:
•10 rd
•12 rd
•15 rd
In this instance it's not an issue at all. Yes it's possible for other manufacturers or situations, that it could very well cause a feeding issue. Do not use magpul in Gen 5 Glocks, they constantly lock slide back prematurely. I would not trust magpul 12 rd mag regardless or anything other than Glock OEM with my life.
HELP! On one of my magazines, I didn't put back the "insert plate" after installing the Pearce extension grip (XL model). Will the magazine still work correctly (although I can imagine the hole at the bottom can be an entry point for dirt, lint, etc.); or better yet, is there a way to easily remove the Pearce extension and do it correctly with the insert plate? If there is a way to remove the Pearce extension - is it easier with rounds or snap rounds inside the mag? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks . . .
You figure that out yet?
@@2wheeleddemon999 Yeah. It was zero problem . . . Took it out to the forest and it worked perfectly - no feed problems.
@@StevenMelikean ok cool. It's been a while since you posted that and just wanted to see if you still needed help. Take care man.
You need that piece. It will work until it dosen't.
Might as well get a 19
Is anyone having feeding and ejection issues after installing this my glock 26 won’t cycle now had to remove them and go back to OEM mag
the 26 size guns in an X series would be Amazing they need a carry gun that takes 19, 17 mags and has a grip at Least 1'' longer it doesn't even look right
They do loosen up after that first time.
That's what she said. 🤣
I got some of the ones that are supposed to be +3 buy only added 2 extra rounds. Not your companies fault. I'm just curious if any one else has had problems
Same here. I am guessing they are counting 1 in the chamber?
It depends on the caliber
Is it compatible for g27?
How about the G28?
lenny mcgill...our next president.
Hickok45 is a straight shooter with no pinky , all about practice
Good for him.🙄👌
👌👌👌
Can you put a beaver tail on a gen 3?
I’m not sure if there’s aftermarket alternatives but no, the backstraps was a feature that started with Gen 4.
Has anyone thought about putting this plus 2 baseplate on a 15 round or 17 magazine?
I picked up a few of these for cheap and I did it to my glock 23 mags. I put the extension on a 15rd and a 13 and now the 15rd mag holds 17 and the 13rd holds 15 .40 s&w. The only thing is that you have to bevel the edges of the bottom of the mag because the spring goes past it and catches on the bottom lip and won’t spring back up without smacking it against something so I had to go through a little trial and error but now they run smooth no problems.
Lenny "Last of the Mohicans" Magill
Where can I buy the tool that you are using to take off plate
Glockstore its $30.
Just use pliers
The best is a GTUL.
Lenny, why do you film gun videos in San Diego ?? I mean its like trying to sell a product that doesn't exist in your country, lol... Go to Arizona.
Vinny Bulldog pretty sure we should write California off as a loss
Ha you should probably get out from under your rock. Haha you are so delusional san diego has alot more 2a supporters than your brain could comprehend.
How reliable is peirce grips any malfunctions?
In my experience they aren't reliable. If you do an emergency reload when the mag hits the ground there is a good chance the grip will pop off making everything fall apart.
@@andrewwhite2473 😱 and that's why I stick to the OEM mags. I've heard many police departments agree that the OEM are more reliable as well.
Since Glocks can take their own factory higher capacity magazines I don't see a reason to alter their 10 round mag with a 2 round extender.
To me, it makes more sense to just put a factory higher capacity Glock 17 mag in my Glock 26 and add the sleeve to fill in the space.
I just ordered a couple of the X-Grips to go on to some Glock 17 mags for my Glock 26, to see how they feel in my hand.
Thanks for the information.
Many like myself don't trust a sleeve for self defense. The biggest objective in self defense weapon is to ensure it's reliable and minimize anything that could go wrong.
@@LAYDAWOOD6
what could go wrong with a sleeve since it doesn't functionally alter the mag?
I don't care for the extenders because they DO change it.
@@IamDoogy although not likely to happen, some people reloading under pressure have slightly moved the X-GRIP and had a issue being able to load the mag, getting caught in the magwell. Again not likely but it has happened and that's enough for me to eliminate that option for me. If it works for other people, great but I carry a Glock in the first place because of it's proven reliability and not going to alter anything that "could" decrease it. The end of the day what you've practiced and have some record of proven reliability is all that matters. Anything that you carry beats nothing.

Yes
Glocks are the RC toy world of guns
I have monster hands.
Do they make one for a glock 30?
Daniel Baker yes, but they work with the factory 9 rd mags only
You'll never see me within a country mile of California. If by chance I'm ever seen down there pleadse call the police because I'm obviously being held against my will. Now the TN location on the other hand, I'll definitely check y'all out if I'm ever in the area
Same here!
I have to wonder if adding more rounds is even necessary. I'm reminded of a training instructor, when I was in military training with the 1911 7 round mags vs. 8 round mags,. he said, "If you can't get it done with 7 rounds, another round is unlikely to help." So fast forward to today's firearms, really, isn't 15 rounds enough?
Are you serious? In today’s climate? How about you have a gang of 20 or 30 people coming at you and then let me know if you have too many rounds.
Bill Smith
Sounds like you should move to a safer neighborhood. You sound scary, are you sure you should have firearms? Ha ha, just kidding
Ha ha! What's scary is this world. We are headed for a civil and/or a race war. I went to Bass Pro Shop yesterday and they didn't have a single piece of handgun ammunition. Good thing I still have my supply of about 5000 rounds. I have five handguns and 5 long guns. I used to only keep one of them loaded. But now they all are loaded and all of my extra magazines that I used to rotate, are also now all loaded and ready to go. I'm not scary, but I also am not scared.
Oh and one other thing, there is no such thing as a safe neighborhood. They might not have been there yet, but eventually they are coming for you and me.
This is a pain for my glock 23 don’t feel like it’s clicked in all the way
No. The real downside is we can not buy it in Ca. ( Stupid Ca rules. )
Also know as the "mini glock"...? That's the baby glock. Like when family guy can say mcdonalds so they say mc Daniel's
Much better the x grip
It's another component that's failed more than once but if it works for you, cool.
Why would you want to make your grip longer without adding rounds? Sounds like a waste of space to me.
California dude
@@glocksNgrippers Ah yes California. hahaha
Totally false. I have larger hands and the stock magazine is fine. Your hand does not fall off the grip. In fact, this pistol feels BETTER to shoot than my 19 using the stock 10round magazine.
That doesn't make any sense. Explain yourself.
rsalcido Not what you’re asking me to justify. I like the feel of the 26. I’m used to snubbie revolvers and the 26 W OEM magazine is the perfect transition. I disagree with this guy’s assertions about how the 26 feels and, for me, I don’t need any extensions for it.

Unpopular opinion, full grip extensions on the mags defeats the point of the firearm
Then you care to explain why crossover pistols like the G45 is doing so well? Some people know how to carry and conceal a longer grip and like it to get a good purchase on the pistol and like the shorter slide because it clears the holster faster. I can carry a g26 to a g17 i just prefer the shorter slide for when i am driving.
I miss glock store in commie calif lenny.
Pearce are throw aways compared to Taran Tactical base pads.
Hyve Technologies makes a good product too
I agree just not sold on reliability aspect compared to OEM mags without them but likely comparable. What's your experience been, any failures?
Definetly a talker...otherwise, a good video
get a 19
Putting 12 rounds in the 26 9mm magazine is a BITCH of a job. So I guess that is why you did not show the task??????
Might as well carry a G19. Pointless.
How do you figure? The only thing g19 about it is the maybe the handle. The slide and frame is all g26 which imo is perfect for close quarters combat, some of us want a better purchase for a quicker draw when conceal carrying plus the shorter slide of the g26 which clears the holster faster and has quicker sight acquisition.
first
Rico Loks who gives a shit...
your mother does
Rico Loks ... good one
just buy a glock 19 if u want that large of a grip
Can’t really pocket carry a 19
M Sharmall are you trolling? You gotta be trolling. G19 is probably the best size for conceal unless you get a smaller gun like a 23 but then you’ll be sacrificing rounds and grip.
Leon J. You are an idiot. Go pocket carry glock 19
Leon J. Yeah are you trolling? The 23 is the same frame/size as the 19. Lol
In that case carry a 45/ 17 if you want a bigger grip, lol. The point is you have options with a 26. The 26 with a 12 rd OEM mag has the same grip length for your fingers to improve drawing the gun and for follow up shots but it's sloped in the back. The back of the grip and mag is the HARDEST to conceal. With the right ammo you don't need more barrel for proper expansion of JHP. Lastly with an RMR the sight radius is irrelevant. So what were you saying again???
