I bought these while the video was still rolling man, that +2 for the 29 makes it into a thick glock 19… but a 10mm. Let’s call that a Glock 49 for now
Haven't had a 29 or a 20 in like 8 years now but I'm a huge fan. Had the arredondo plus 5 on the 15 rounder and just Pearce plus 0 for the 29. Carried that gun for like 5 years. Get yourself a mag dissembly tool they're like 5 bucks and soooo much easier. The SGM 10mm 30 round mags in my experience have been 100% reliable in quite a few different ones.
My only beef is the rattle when you put the 12rd mag in. You chamber one and it goes away. It’s a new gun so maybe spring needs to be broken in idk but I’ll just carry 11+1 instead of 12+1 until the rattle goes away. Mostly wanted for the extra grip length anyway. 😊
Love these pierce extensions, I have them on many of my Glock magazines, I haven’t come across the +2 extension for my Glock 29 , didn’t realize the make them . For my Glock 34 I stumbled across 20round factory Glock magazines at $36 each and bought four of them , they are FDE color and completely OEM Glock! I highly recommend them if you can find them! ( found mine at camping world) . Great video
Question is did the spring relieve tension after you either fired those rounds or took them out? Seems like it would become unseated if the pressure was released and thus not leaving the plate secure?
Good question. There is slight tension when the mag does not have rounds in it, meaning it is designed to have a little bit of spring tension even when unloaded, and even with the extension.
Yes that’s what I experience with most double stack magazines, it’s just the shape of the magazine at the point it funnels inwards and the few rounds that sit there and the shape of the actual bullet being smaller vs the rim (base) of the brass allows it to wobble and make a sound
@@973newarkavelli9 try a Wolff +10% power spring and see if that fixes the feeding issue. Also your follower or the base plate may be misaligned, try dissembling the mag and check it out.
Sorry for trolling your channel, but the whole capacity thing is a moot point, 99% of defensive shootings have only 2-3 shots fired to stop the threat. So id rather have 11 shots of 10mm or .40, over 16 shots of 9mm. Basically i carry a judge defender right now and am anticipating this 10mm on the way ha
Well, what about for home defense under a pillow or on the nightstand? Most home invasions nowadays are done by people of 3 or more. Even if it was only one bad guy breaking into my home, I dont know what he has for a weapon so I want all the rounds that my gun can hold reliably.

You are right. The tool is very useful. Will pick one up if they ever come back in stock locally….

Seems to go away, or I don't notice it, maybe when jogging

Great video
Thanks, those g17/g34 mags sound cool I’ll have to keep an eye out. Yes, Pierce great on the g29 too. Thank you for watching
@Izzyrodthegod any state where allowed 🤪
@Izzyrodthegod I abide here in the freedom State of Florida ✌️🇺🇸
I have the same pair, love my 10mm's.
⚡️⚡️⚡️
Also fish-eye view cameras for gun size comparison vids is kinda huh lol but still great vid cant wait for my 29 gen 4 this week
G29 is a real winner. Go pro is really not that great but it’s what I got for now

@@shaunstayfree5551 thank you for the response. Just want sure of the pressure would stay the same afterwards.
So what do I need again for the 17rd?...glock 20 mag with the two rd extension?

Does the plus 2 with 15 end work in the 29?
Yes it does but will leave a gap at the bottom. It will work but better with xgrip.
Why the rattling with the plus 2 on the g29....mine does the same....is that normal?

@@shaunstayfree5551 got it...thanks for responding so quickly.
It’s normal. Should be noticeable after loading the 12th round using the Pearce Mag Extension +2.
Smack it on the palm of ur hand and it should go away
I put the plus 2 in the 15 rounder in the 29 and did a feed test and it jmmed up like a mf
Probably need a stronger magazine spring
@@shaunstayfree5551 ig so it was getting double feeds

I don't trust my +2
Why’s that ??
I do, it’s worked 100% so far.
Just better to get a stock Glock 20 mag IMO

I'll be sure to tell mr. Black bear about your statistics, the next time I run into him during my hike. 🤣

Do the hogue grips on the glock 20 make it to thick Or just slightly ?
At least 1/4 inch additional girth each side. Maybe slightly more
