Here is a test of the Emergency Broadcast System (or, as they called it in Minnesota, the Emergency Action Notification System), as seen on CBS station KEYC-TV 12 in Mankato, MN in 1990.
I think some stations called it "Emergency Action Notification System" all over the country. One or two substituted it for "Emergency Broadcast System" in the standard script, as I recall.
This has a double whammy of fright!
