Just a heads up. That post mount has to be on before the timing covers. I made that mistake on my motor after pressing on an ATI damper. Had to cut an access hole to get to the bolt behind the cover.
Or get more old parts to put in those empty boxes.

A bit off topic but , how would one go by swapping the mechanical VSS on an EF when you swap into a K motor? Please share your thoughts. Dana I know you can answer it for me my boy :-)
I believe there's a few k transmissions that the cable speedo fits from the d series. If not it's only 3 wires you need for VSS but there's a specific VSS you have to use which I can't recall at the moment.
