New idea - put magnusson on pole as default and let everyone try and overtake
That is why reverse order sprint races from one qualifying session would be so amazing
I feel like he'd do it even harder if it was Verstappen behind him.
Haas would start building a car for absorbing impacts
RIP entire F1 grid and their cars
I would pay a high amount of money to see that
Haas has discovered a cheat code...one driver absorbs a bunch of penalties which lets the other driver build a gap and score points
Magnussen should just be DSQ the next time he pulls something like this
I don’t think they’ve learned just giving out a bunch of time penalties won’t deter Magnussen. Only a mandatory drive through the pits which has to be served in the race would stop it otherwise he’ll continue doing that and take the time penalties for the team. Did his job got Hulk points
He should be disqualified for multiple offenses
One penalty should be a time penalty, two penalties instead of adding time, make it a stop and go penalty (which would be at least a 20 sec penalty anyway). three penalties should be a DSQ.
@@metro3313if they also punished the team it probably wouldn’t happen as often.
K-Mag was Hamilton's penalty for lap 1 😂
Dammit XD made this comment near the start of the video... didn't realise they'd make that joke too
Thought Magnussen was going to do the full Schumacher at Monaco park up against the wall block in move against Hamilton for a second there.
"I am a consequence "-Kmag
Lmao, true. 😂
Better karma than 5 secs woulda been muahah
Haas is the first team to realize penalty points are a resource.
K-Mag sheepdogging the wolves for Hulk is the best thing to happen to F1 in ages.
They almost took him out not the other way around.
Nobody's gonna mention Yuki also getting a point? This is the first double points finish for RB !!
Had he earned it on merit it would have been worth mentioning, like Australia and Japan it takes others to fail for Yuki to succeed, never earns points on merit alone.
Yuki getting 1 point and Yuki fans demanding that people talk about it as if it's amazing is the most Yuki fan thing.
He did go from 18 to 8 guys.
@@dodgemF1 such a weird thing to say, whatever you think about miami sprint, if you score good points compared to all other midfielders you cannot really do more

K-mag is my spirit animal
King of Defence

This was so hilarious, the only action we get in f1. Withough Kmag it would be unbearable to watch. I love what he is doing, don't know why people complain

@@airshipflea5219 well, i love this sport since 2013 but lately I think everyone can agree on the fact that it is a bit boring. I think it is also unfair but from the viewpoint of a person that loves racing, what Kmag is doing was really fun. Dirty, but fun. But yeah too much is also not good and if Haas continues to do that, they should get a penalty.
Magnussen in a top car would be pure chaos
Watching T1, I thought Merc finally gave Grosjean that drive
Not Tommy predicting Danny Ric getting knocked out in Q1
Kmag simply defending like it's the last lap and the championship is on the line - love it
Either Haas had a secret meeting behind doors that told k-mag to do everything he can including getting penalties to help support hulk get points or k-mag decided to get buddy buddy points to secure his seat. Either way I hope it doesn't get any worse than it has been because he was extra spicy today.
He just tried to socre points but after the first penalty his race was over, so the only way to be useful was to support Hülkenberg by blocking everyone else ^^
They didn't have a meeting because Magnussen had no chance to get to p8.
He only got p8 because Lewis took out 3 people ahead of Kmag.
At that point though I'm sure he knew what to do by default.
@@irwinrommel2099 yeah, pre-emptive meeting is not a possibility. And if they instructed him mid race, FIA will catch that. This was just pure KMag brain chaos
Lol he isn't going to be here next year. They want someone scoring points, not sandbagging for his teammate because his race was over by Lap 3.
Balls are getting sucked tonight!
Mag should be rewarded for giving everyone compelling and entertaining action. Give him a raise. Thats what i wanna see.
Kevin's drive was not safe, but I do feel a little bit of poetic justice was served that Hamilton ended up the recipient of his flaunting the rules.
all i know is gunther steiner was definitely the big problem at haas.. they are looking much better now without him.
His penalty was driving 15 laps behind Kmag.

We need more KMAGS in F1!
17:35 I blame Tommy for Danny Ric's race qualifying result.
Even though I’m a Merc fan first. Lewis deserved that penalty. Speeding in the pit-lane is a clear penalty.
It was also quite by quite a significant margin.
Wasn't that when the safety car was leading them through? All the cars were stacked up. No pit crews out. Personally I don't think it was deserved given the circumstances as there was no safety concern but rules are rules I guess.
@@dvs9019it doesn't make it any less safe just because the Safety Car was there. There are people on the outside wall and cars absolutely could put meaning out crews could be out, infact Alpine was out as they had a penalty to serve which they did then

KMag was like,"Give me a thousand points, not today.... Hamilton,"

Agree. Too much bias and too much hate. We can deslike some drivers for sure, but I think we should be fair too!!
I disliked this vudeo and stopped watching it precisely Bc of that.
I think Magnussen's first penalty for cutting the chicane was bullshit, and while I understand that 10 seconds is the standard this season in order to more strongly deter drivers, giving him a 10-second penalty for that without even so much as a warning demonstrates the problem with this kind of punishment. From that point on, Magnussen knew his race was screwed regardless, so of course he's going defend aggressively, as further penalties are meaningless. This is what happens when you make such knee-jerk ruling decisions. Contrary to being a deterrent, it only encourages more aggressive driving.
In the famous Abu Dhabi race of 2021 cutting the corner was just fine.
You can’t be holding up Hamilton that’s illegal
Hamilton using the Astons as bowling walls is fine, but KMag holding to his position is dangerous? Man I miss old school racing
“Miss old school racing” but complaining what Lewis did is most retarded thing I’ve seen. Complete typical bullshit just to hate on him. What Lewis did summarises verstappen at turn 1 every time he has competition (Vegas 23, Imola,Spain,Jeddah in 2021 just to name a few) but no one ever complained about him doing that did they?
He wasnt holding his position he was more so putting his position at gunpoint and saying you better not run away from me 🤡 but jokes aside watching that was hilariously funny and exciting LOL

The problem with formula one is that they don’t let the guys race. They only want to get pass them using the DRS. That’s not a race car, it’s a parade car.
kmag didnt do much wrong...he was off track but the moves were completely legal, hamilton overtook tsunoda on the inside later, kmag didnt let him do that
cars are too big to pass easily without DRS.. especially with the dirty air.. its why newey/verstappen and RB wanted the 2026 regs to go with smaller cars and no hybrid/battery BS.. v10's or v8's with synthetic fuel and the cars get much smaller and much lighter.. dont need to sacrifice safety for the weight savings if you dont have the heavy ass battery
@@mrbungle3310running yourself and the over driver off the road is illegal you f1 fans don’t know what real racing is

I love spicy Tommy after a spicy Sprint.
In my opinion this sprint just showed reverse championship order grid would be better than currant sprint qualifying and sprint, the only good bits were Ric and Mag fighting to keep position I would like to see them try changing the weekend to Friday 2 practice, Saturday reverse championship order sprint then race qualifying, Sunday race, sprint weekends have to be minimum 3 races apart so no sprint back to backs and no more than 6 in a season no set up changing after practice to make it easier on mechanics unless extreme weather changes, it doesn't feel right having 2 qualifyings in 1 weekend taking it back to 1 will make it flow better, the Saturday could be either sprint first or qualifying first should be up to teams and drivers for which way is better
In my opinion are the stewards always against him, for example with how fast the first penalty was awarded. It was like they didn`t even think about it, where if like it was lewis they would not give it as fast (he would probably still get a penalty).

For everyone saying "Alonso and Stroll made contact before Hamilton even arrived, you can't blame Hamilton":
Alonso saw Hamilton coming in like a torpedo, so he did his best to move out of the way and avoid damage. Stroll and Norris were unfortunately on his outside, so he drove into Stroll. Hamilton sent such a ridiculous divebomb that even Alonso driving into his own teammate wasn't enough, and he crashed into Alonso. Which sent him into Stroll yet again and took out Norris.
If Alonso didn't do all that and hugged the inside like he probably wanted to, Hamilton would just drive into the back of him and send him bowling. Alonso quite possibly saved all 4 of those cars (and probably even others nearby) from being completely demolished.
