  • Hey guys! I got box braids using Rebundle plant-based braiding hair and filmed a video talking about my experience. This video was filmed on June 30, 2021.
This is first video I made about Rebundle: • Rebundle Chronicles Pa... . I went into more detail about my thoughts about the hair.
This is the link to the Rebundle hair I ordered: rebundle.co/collections/shop-...

I’ve had the hair installed for about 1.5 weeks and there’s no itch!!

Does it have any scent? Read a few reviews from rebundle site some said it smells like banana.

@@crownedncurls2764that doesn't make sense it's made from the plant itself and not the fruit/fruit peel. Have you ever engaged with a banana plant before? The banana tree trunk doesn't smell like the fruit at all. The only way the hair would smell like banana is if they added artificial scent to it which I doubt.

It's the itching and it may just be me... but wearing other people's hair... I swear it carries energy I can't get rid of. I haven't worn braids in a while and I am so ready to get some. I will definitely try this hair.

Fabulous, thanks for sharing this sustainable option with Rebundle! You also look lovely in this color and length, good job on the style curation- yes sis. One question, with stiffness and hair pokage … did your stylists heat-set your braids? Like dipped in hot water after, the install? That typically, is key to adding more flexibility to the braids as well calming down the bits of strands that kinda stick out. I’d be curious to know if the plant-based fibers would even still sustain after that last process. Sending light and positivity 💫 Thanks again for making these reviews!

Thanks for your review. Would love to know how it held up after a longer period of time. I really want to try this hair but it’s been so hard to buy. They always seem to sell out immediately after restock.

Thank you for sharing sistah! I'm a bit surprised that it took all 2.5 bundles to braid your hair since you didn't opt for a particularly thick style nor are there that many braids. Do you happen to remember how many Inches was a bundle?
I'm wondering if 1 bundle should suffice for a teenager who's only going to braid shoulder length? (Price doubled on the website so that question became more relevant 😂)
    Thanks for input :)

I do my own hair...disclaimer I'm not a professional. I just find it therapeutic to do my own. I'm surprised that your braider didn't do a more neater finish to your ends. Could it be because of the banana fiber. I want to try this so badly. Could you pull out one and redo to see if it's really usable ❤ thanks

I think knotless braids would look better on you. It sucks that it’s unclear if it’s the hair or braider skill because the ends looked pretty crazy. Normally they would dust that.

Is it just plant based or is it vegan too? I’m trying to find something that wasn’t used from animals….or tested on them
