    Northern Wind 19 showed that the Bv206 still got it so the Beowulf will be a great product for those infantry units that give maximum mobility in difficult terrain.
    Ground pressure lessons where also learned on the CV90 side where the Norwegian CV90s with its extra armour got outmaneuvered by the lighter Swedish CV90s because they could go more places

    The BV-206 is extremely well engineered, Hope new changes do not take away from the original design.

    Bv206 has some of the best mobility there is for deep snow traverse, as a direct descendant if sure a modernized BvS10 is highly desirable

    This + 10NLaws+25 Switchblades+Decent 360degree optics = extremely effective in places like finland. For quick shoot+move tatics on the frontline. Very snowy or wetland areas this is prefect; for derest or other open area it isn't good but for the right areas/countries it is a prefect frontline grilla-warfare asset (not direct frontline but close so you can drop a group of soliders off who can hit the enemy and then return and gtfo of the area.

    Wat about the differens between this and bv206?

    • @TheApilas
      @TheApilas Před 4 lety +5

      The bv206 is unprotected since it uses plastic body, the BvS10 is shrapnel protected

    Great all terrain mobility with wide tracks ideal for lots of snow, mud and sand. I love it, but i don't see a real need for them in most armies, unless you are rolling in the cash to afford such niche utilization. Other support and logistics vehicules will struggle to follow, which ultimately reduces mobility

      There are logistics variants of it, but it was developed with specific regions in mind, where conventional armies cant operate due to the terrain.

      There is a logistics version that takes the standard small Container on the back

      It's a lightly armored amphibious vehicle for marshes and river deltas. If you don't need the armor, the BV206 is lighter and cheaper.

      I think it would be perfect for most militaries. Especially in any logistics or ambulance role.
