Darren pays a visit to Broken Hill on his Honda CB500X with the Level 2 Rally Raid kit. Sadly, he can only bounce around inside the NSW Border because of the Covid, he was supposed to be doing a World tour on the little Honda.
In this video he talks about how he set up the bike for the trip.

Darren, it's OK. Us Americans dream of riding where you are. I know it's little comfort because I live off the US 1 in California and it is a dream spot to ride... if a person is totally into road riding. I'd love to have the endless trails and outback to play in for a few months.

I noticed your mates ditched the giant loop Ushape soft luggage. Can you find out why, id be very interested, as im buying the cbx next yr and also be buying soft luggage for my gear. Thanks
The T7 is quite a thing but what the hell was Yamaha thinking when they dumped cruise control off the menu for a bike with electronic throttle control !?!? Fancy telling us that they built a light bike that can do the big miles as well as the bush miles and then not having cruise on it.
