I had RNY gastric bypass on Monday June 13th, 2016 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In this video I talk about my 10th week post-op which includes the foods I'm eating, how many calories and grams of protein I'm getting in, & what my activity has been. I also talk about bring back my sexy with better fitting clothes and make-up.

273.0 lbs: Start of 3-week Optifast diet
253.0 lbs: Surgery weight
246.0 lbs: 01 week post-op
245.5 lbs: 02 weeks post-op (used a new scale!)

Hey Erin~ You are so inspirational!~ Loving your new look and lipstick color! ~Go hubby! lol. But I feel the same way you do about the color rubbing off on my cup,etc.. so I usually use lip gloss instead of color.. but must admit.. color is just better. Keep up the great hard work~ 💞

I second Revlon Colorstay. It is a great long-wear lipstick, 12h+, and after it's set, it truly does not come off on anything: bottles, straws, clothes. The only slight issue is that it can make your lips feel a bit sticky when you close your mouth. To combat this, I put a little light gloss or lip balm over it.
You look fantastic. I love to see that belt come out and watch the notches just fly by. :)
Thank you for the recommendation Ashley. I love the belt as well, because even when I feel like the numbers on the scale aren't moving, it's great to see it getting smaller!
I loved the sound effects when you stretched your jean waistband! That was too cute! I also find that I feel more like wearing make up since losing weight.

You have Lost 3 pounds a week since surgery! That's awesome! Loved your bike ride! The trees are beautiful! You are wise to pre cook up a bunch of chicken for the week. You've inspired me to do the same!! You look great! Congratulations on getting into those clothes! 💗😘💗😘
As far as your lipstick goes, You might try a lipstick stain. Your lips will be dry but it will stay on all day! Good luck!
Thanks Jodi! Yeah, I averaged it out as well and am happy with 3 lbs a week :) And yes, having chicken on hand that is ready to go is a life saver for me.
You look pretty with your make up. I like Revlon Colorstay lipstick. I think it's cute you let you husband pick the lipstick color. Great way to get your exercise in and enjoy doing it. Congrats on your loss this week and you look terrific in your new clothes. Your face is looking so slim! A smart idea to pre-cook the chicken. I'm enjoying the protein shakes first thing in the morning as a way of getting used to something for breakfast. I love the belt reference. Have a wonderful week!☺

Hi Erin, congrats on your continued success. My fav. brand of lipstick from the drug store is Maybelline and a really good long wearing one is the Color Sensational® Creamy Mattes. I love that range. There is a really great YT beauty person that I watch named Estee Lalonde - she is a very natural girl and gives lots of good makeup tips.

looking beautiful...great loss and the bike ride looks relaxing...look for anything that says Matte for your lipsticks...i love matte because it stays put ..i think all of the names you mentioned carry a matte lipstick...

Thank you so much Deb! Yes I have so much hair it often gives me a heat rash on the back of my neck. If it starts falling out though I'll probably go to a shorter cut.

Love my bike rides too and so glad you are doing well. We try don't we, trying to wean off of the chemical dependence to poop doesn't go our way, lol. Hope everything keeps flowing normal, lol,

Awww, thanks Hun! As far as the blood thinner goes the answer is "it depends" ... In Ontario at the Ottawa hospital I only had one injection at the hospital so it was covered ... I didn't have any "take home" costs.
Liquid lip sticks tend not to transfer however they can be very drying. Grab a few from the drug store on the cheap side to make sure u like them first😉 u might be able to find some really affordable ones from BH cosmetics or Colorpop cosmetics online 😀

Hi Erin! It's great to have found you. Are you still taking the iron with the pudding?
See Tammy RNY Actually I just take it as it is and don't open it anymore! I couldn't take the horrible taste anymore. And my iron levels have increased while taking them without opening them 😊
That's great to hear! I would do the same thing. Lol. I'm going to order some. Is there any after taste with the iron in capsule?
OH and btw, NYX is the best drugstore brand there is, hands down.

Hey, Erin! I'm so happy for you that you're feeling good about yourself. My Lipstick recommendation is NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. They have a ton of colors and are pretty affordable. Also available at most drugstores around here in the US... Not sure if they carry in Canada. If you use a nice thin layer it will stay for a LONG time!

Did you ever regret your decision?
I did for about 10 minutes after I woke up from surgery when I was completely out of it! But since then it's been great and not one single regret :)
