3 decades ago or not, the original Twister is still a masterpiece in film making today. The original holds a very special place in my heart. I don’t expect this one to hit me the same way.

It is a shame that Mark Mancina isn't coming back to do the music. And we're getting Benjamin Wallfisch to do the score instead. He seems to be Warner Bro's go to for film music nowadays. I hope he at least uses the music from the first film while making his own. But, I don't know. Overall, I'm cautiously optimistic about the movie. Hope its good.

1:29 then it should be called something else if it has nothing to do with the original?

They missed the best opportunity: Kate is the daughter of Bill and Joe. Bill was killed a few years ago while storm chasing. Kate has her own harrowing experience. We get a short, yet perfect, Helen Hunt cameo…

No connection to original at all?? Isn’t Helen hunt in it?

I'm already disappointed with this just by the trailer. More of a spinoff then an actual continuations of the original. No reprised roles, just seems like a "action thrill seeker" movie. I'll pass.
