  • Showing off our new cattle rack. We choose to purchase a inexpensive cattle rack for one of our existing utility trailers to save money and space.
This video goes through our decision making process and assembly of our new rack.
Tune in next week to see what animals we bring home with this new cattle rack.

This is a great option if you already have a trailer that you can adapt to haul your livestock with. In in the process of making a removable rack for a utility trailer that I bought just a few weeks ago. I have old materials lying around and a welder So I'm fabricating it myself. I do have an old livestock trailer. But it is in need of many repairs.

Hey sorry about the rude comment at the time I made it I had to deal with a bunch of those trailers at a cattle auction and none of them worked I was just frustrated with people using when they weren't any good sorry I have no real problem with them just please don't take it to a large auction

Why a single axle? Wouldn’t a dual axle be able to hold more weight?

Yeah I personally would feel much more at eat ease hauling cattle on dual axle trailer. Seems much more safer.

Yes a double axle can hold slightly more weight, but this is video is about using a trailer you already have. I use this to haul sheep, and lots of them will fit on a single axle trailer. If hauling large animals you would want a heavier trailer.. Just move the rack to a different trailer.

Holy hell this guy's funny stock trailers being heavy is the biggest and funniest load of bull I've heard in a while and rusting out how the floor joist have mostly been made of aluminum since 1960 and trailer lights are not needed hell they don't work hahaha

You saw me lift the tongue of this trailer with full rack on it and drag it to the trucks hitch. Can you do that with your stock trailer? Also you will not find a aluminum stock trailer with a aluminum floor for $1000. Most older and many new stock trailers are wood plank floor, with steal beam construction under the wood.
