The process of adjusting the preload of the headset bearings is vague and although you flag up on screen you just need to remove the play from the bearings, there is no demonstration of how to check for play. The presenter just adds more tension to the top cap bolt as if this should be done with every bike built from a box.
Using the ball end of an Allen key to loosen torqued up bolts will result in them becoming rounded. The same can be said for torquing them up. This was first picked up on when watching the demonstration of the headset adjustment procedure when the presenter loosens the stem bolts. More worryingly though the use of ball end of the Allen key to tighten the crank arm preload cap that is wrongly described as nice and tight. When the Allen key is removed you can see he has started to round the cap on a brand new bike!
How to set up gears? Just watch another click bait video where we talk you through cable tension and limit screws without a mention that the hanger needs to be aligned to the frame before any of these tasks are performed.
Brake setup hard to fault you on with the presumption rotors are true and brake mounts do not need to be faced.
It' would be nice if you had mentioned to check all bolts are adequately torqued, tyres are inflated and to use anti seize on the seat post as well as wheel axles (even though you use grease).
Lastly you forgot to tell us how to true the wheels, even out the spoke tension of those questionable factory builds and set the handlebar roll with an even gap on the stem face plate (where applicable of course).

One thing I like to do on a new bike is brake levers bleed. This is not a full bleed and it's very quick. It's just to let air out of the levers reservoir if there is any from the assembly. I found that there is frequently a small amount. Not enough to be a major hindrance, but definitely enough for the brakes to feel a bit spongy. Takes only 5 minutes, put the cup with some oil on the brake lever, compress and release the lever a few times, watching for bubbles coming out. Repeat until no more bubbles come out. Done :D

I am putting my first bike together. It didn’t come with any grease so I couldn’t lube anything up (got it from bikes direct) - after I put the quick release front tire on, there’s a scraping noise. Then I noticed the back wheel does it too. Sounds like metal scraping. Is this something I should be concerned with? I’m hoping it’s because I haven’t calibrated or used it yet but I’m worried.

Great bike , rides smooth czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L I added a bigger spring loaded seat to it . Takes a bit of adjusting cables to get brakes and shifting to perfect . I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing
