I grew up speaking french, so I took him to w french speaking school, in east africa many people also speak swahili, so I introduced him to it. I'm 33 now and he just turned 16 last month and will graduate high school in September. He perfectly speaks french, swahili, kinyarwanda (my mother tongue),english and a bit of japanese cause I made him love mangas and japanese anime. He is the best under 18, basketball player in the country, a black belt, one of the best chess players and is graduating in a combination of math, physics, chemistry and biology. He likes reading books more than social media, i've always made sure he makes his own life experiences instead of having to take other people's opinions, to make sure he has his own critical thinking about life. In africa, we highly respect elders, because they are wise. Age is a sign of wisdom, it's very important to humble your kids when they are still young and make sure they hold the family values, country, cultures and traditions.
