How can anyone call this Brazil team lining up Martineli, Jesus, Anthony, Rodrygo, Ederson, and others a B team? Crazy. Cameroon was also playing without 2 first team central defenders through injuries.
I’m particularly weirded out because some of these same people were still saying that Richarlison didn’t deserve to be playing in front of Jesus and Martinelli (even after he scored twice in the opening game). Those two play and don’t score and suddenly they are just the B team. These pundits are so fickle!

Players from the domestic league (causing the goal) that nobody knows. The Choupo Moting and Aboubakar lineup is a thing that we have only just seen. The goal keeper is fresh and I know you know as everyone that Epassy has a ways to go to be on the level of Onana.
What part of this Cameroon team makes you think that it was their strongest squad when the hole world was aware that in reality Brazil should have rained goals in their nets but couldn’t?

Joao Pedro Coelho wasnt undermining or implying that the cameroon lineup was their strongest or not, all he pointed out is that this Brazil lineup that played was considered a B team by most people cause on paper they would just as much be a first lineup teams for Brazil ON PAPER, but in reality they haven't played anytime together as a team, so the teamplay was off most of times, with missed passes and bad exchange of positions between their formations. A goal could have happened, as it also can be said the same to the cameroon lineup (and it did with the cross from Mbekeli to Aboubakar goal). Yet, Cameroon had a better rounded team and a better teamplay for the game, that counter attack just shows that. At the end, cameroon deserves the win fair and square, and Brazil took a gamble with the whole reserve squad and lost. Brazillian here if you are wondering.
Stevie found a negative way out of the whole situation. Scoring against Brazil is diffivult enough let alone scoring the winning goal at the death.

Japan beating Germany, Saudi Arabia beating Argentina, Morocco beating Belgium & Ghana almost get a goal in the dying moments in the Portugal match was also difficult. In football anything can happen. It's better to try for the 2nd goal and failed, then they can do whatever they want after the game.
My thought as well, getting another goal at that dying moment , especially against Brazil is almost impossible.
And we're talking about Brazils reserve team, and Cameroon still struggled to get that one goal, it wouldn't go the same way with the first team players on the pitch. This same situation happened on France vs Tunisia, they got a late goal but still struggled and were exhausted at the last 15 minutes to even try a second goal.
Aren't these the same pundits who after already knowing Brazil will rotate players still said the Brazilian reserves are still so good that they will still walk all over Cameroon??🤔

They just came up against a team that refused to concede a goal and was in inspired form at the back. I rate Rodrygo and Martinelli very highly. Martinelli's Arsenal are flying high in the English Premiership. His pace is frightening and he has a knack for scoring goals just not yesterday. Overall you have an amazing squad and you can go all the way at this World Cup.

Brazil only played with a strong team with the exception of Cameroon, Switzerland and Serbia and we won both, it is very easy to say that Spain and France scored 6 or 7 goals, because they only started with a weak team.
Of course they scored less... The other teams had to opt into a full defensive tactics or else their goal would become another Spain vs Costa rica. Just look at the last two games stats, Brazil were just going full ofensive and had most of time of ball possesion and recovery, Serbia and Switzerland had to use that hard defensive style as a means of stoping them.

Moreover, the Serbia game had probably already ended, or was about to end. What were the chances of Cameroon and Serbia scoring in these last seconds ? Close to zero. We celebrate the goal and the win (TO THE FULLEST) even if we are heading home. Aboubakar made history yesterday, and that's all that counts. No need for all the negative energy
that was still 6 minutes left, aboslute possible, and Brazil went FULLL in to a draw, Brazil was playing te last minutes literally without defenders, it was very likely to get another counter attack chances and very good scoring chances, and Cameroon biggest asset is the speed and physique of the team. Taking that red card made no sense, it was loser mentality, it looked like they took the defeat before even the match started otherwise they would 100% focused on making 2 goals instead of celebrating. Now they are back home in for the next 4 years this celebration will be meaningless when they could've tried and heroic 2-0 hoping for a Serbia goal. That was just dumb, sorry.

Brazil played like another team, of course this was the so called B team of brazil but this reserve team played mostly ground passes which slowed them & allowed cameroonians to regroup in their defensive shape. Ultimately it was the CAMEROON GOALIE who was the true hero & Abu Backer.
