Winning the final of a knockout tournament depend hugely on luck.. so even if messi cannot exactly win the finals, just reaching the finals of a world cup 2 times, and finals of a copa america 3 times(winning it 1s) clearly shows how great messi is...judging the greatness of an individual player based on his teams achievements doesn't exactly do him justice... the amount of awards, especially man of the match he received individually better shows how good a player is.

Don't allow the France back three or four players to be comfortable knocking the ball around in there half of the field. Then feeding Ball to Bembele , Griezman, Giroud, Mbappe to come in the left or right wing and long ball in over the top. An avoid getting caught off guard with counter attack , break away plays where you are hustling to get back to settled and defend in front of goal in your half of the field . like they did in the game against Morocco.
