You could use the deus arm cuff shaft, it comes off with two screws so you could break it down, the cuff with cuff shaft is about 12" long, the handle is 9" long. Then cut the upper shaft where it comes out of the handle, leave a couple inches of the top shaft to mate it with the monopod. So it would be three pieces. the cuff and shaft, the handle and then monopod and coil. If that makes sense.

Brilliant! I’ve been thinking I’d using a monopod as well.

Looks like you can handle this pretty good on your own. No pun intended. I like it.

Good video. The shaft is the same as the golden mask straight shaft.I have 2 sorex pro's mounted on them.Straight shaft to me is much more comfortable to use.Nice job.

Any update to this setup? Handle mount resolved? This is a nice setup. I'm thinking MTB handlebar end/extension as another commenter suggested.

Nice, I was thinking of getting the 18" telescoping teke-knox shaft and making an extension piece for it for a goldmonster 1000 but am stuck finding dimensions to see if the coil will fit on and diameter of their shaft. You wouldn't happen to know the bolt diameter and width of exinox coil end would you and diameter of the shaft?

A handle can be made from mountain bike handlebar extender (double handlebar) some are made from carbon!

Great job and creative thinking outside the box. I have one suggestion and a question. First the suggestion in the form of a question, can you use the GoPro mount you talked about to mount and adjust the angle of the handle? Now for my question, what is the extended length of the finished assembly without the pvc part? I'm curious if it is long enough to mount my Equinox and an arm cuff on the carbon fiber sections without the need for the pvc add-on.

Chris Woods , thanks for watching and the suggestion. I tried several go pro mounts as a handle, they just dont hold up the strain when you swing. Maybe there are stronger mounts out there though. To answer your question, the monopod itself is 27" fully extended (last lower rod removed). I've thought about modifying the Equinox to fit as well. I'm sure it would be possible. Maybe another video? Cheers!

Hello whats the final weight compare to the original pole setting? This is good works

lavaboQC , I don't have a good way to accurately weigh it. I actually tried with a small scale that I have, and I believe it's a tad bit heavier. Still very easy to swing. The monopod itself is must lighter, it's when you add the pvc arm cuff that adds weight.
