Cool vedio. The area your in is Malhuer City which is in Eastern Oregon malhuer county. The cemetary is the Malheur City cemetary which is still well kept up to this day. That area used to be an mining town in around 1853 up to the early 1860s until the gold ran out. Then the town became a ghost town and in 1957 there was a big range fire that burned the town to the ground. The only structure standing is that arch way structure that you saw there. The population of the city was about 10,000 people. Look up the history of Malhuer City and you'll find some very cool information about the ditch that was dug to the area so they could mind the gold. Other than that great vedio.

You could use the deus arm cuff shaft, it comes off with two screws so you could break it down, the cuff with cuff shaft is about 12" long, the handle is 9" long. Then cut the upper shaft where it comes out of the handle, leave a couple inches of the top shaft to mate it with the monopod. So it would be three pieces. the cuff and shaft, the handle and then monopod and coil. If that makes sense.

What size is the big coil that you have? I've tried my actual AR15 bag (single rifle), but my Nokta Makro SP28 does not fit in it... Nor can it fit the upper shaft with my arm bracket attached. And I don't feel like taking that off each time (3 screws that will probably end up staying the thread after repeated (dis)assembly)...

You wouldn't happen to know the bolt diameter and width of exinox coil end would you and diameter of the shaft?

Back in the early 1960 I was a high school student in Winnemucca. A couple of my friends were four wheeling a few miles from Rye Patch and ran into a old miner mining a gold vein. He was a really nice guy he asked to come into his one room cabin where he pulled a suitcase out under his cot. When he opened it up my eyes feel out of my head the suitcase was full wire and leaf gold it was unbelievably. He gave all of us a small sample of visible gold in quartz which is still have today. Twenty years I was driving in the area and I found him again mining his gold vein. Being older I set down with him and we talked. He only mined the vein when he need some money during the winter he went to Arizona at his favorite bar. He had a drinking problem but he know how find gold. The only tools he used was a shovel pick and broom. He would locate the vein sweep off the vein to expose the gold. It worked for him as he showed me some more gold he had mined in a week. I have never told anyone where his claim was because I highly respect him
