Can't wait for my Forefronts!!! Also, thank you for doing such a wonderful job on my rebuild! The attention to detail performed by your bookmakers is truly astounding!
@@colinw2104 Yeah, only regret was surprisingly getting a celastic toe. I just prefer the look of how my soft toes have aged and I didn't think I would. I surprised myself they're still amazing boots and I love wearing them!
I have only bought and worn my Thorogood boots for the last 10 years and just ordered a new pair last week. I will have to try these boots out next time I replace them. Normally about every 2-3 years
I want a pair of these....but I'll wear the "welt" off the toes before it needs to be resoled! They'd have to be re-built at every resole! If only there was some kind of metal plate that protected the welt from getting worn away. Yeah, I use tough toe on the toes, but rough concrete is incredibly abrasive. (In my job I end up kneeling on concrete quite a bit, and the welt ends up getting sanded away.)
@@cjanquart That's "tuff-toe". I use it on the toe cap. I have tried covering the welt with the stuff and filling above the welt, but it still wears out pretty fast.
my 300s have been STELLAR. Any chance we might see some different leathers in future? the 300s and forefronts would be amazing in something like CXL or double shot. take my money!
They should breathe through the leather itself I think. I wore timberland pros for several years and my feet always stayed soaked. When I switch to Thorogood, my feet didn’t sweat near as bad. The Thorogood’s didn’t have all those added liners like the Timeberands did.
They stay in the midsole of the boot. So when the nails get hammered in, they end up hitting the metal plated last that is inside the boot and they bend back and lock the midsole to the insole 👍 we have a couple videos on our channel that explain this process a bit more in depth too!
I love these videos. So relaxing and educational. Huge respect for the craftsman building these amazing boots.

Have you gotten them yet? Patiently waiting for my pair also

Impressive, it’s amazing the amount of work that’s put into the boots
Redbacks are the most comfortable I have ever worn. Someday I will have to try these out!
Humbled by the amount of work to make these boots!!!

Is this order 32120 by chance? ❤️ I can’t wait to get my boots!!
sorry dude...says "32440" on the tag.
Curious to know how long those Vibram insoles last until they wear down. But a very good looking boot.
Has JK ever thought about making suspenders?
Thats a good idea!
Truly an art❤…amazing craftsmanship ❤
I can’t wait to get mine !!!!!
Love mine.
Yes awesome boots :)
Nice
@21:00 What are they adhering to the inner sole? A heel wedge? I never caught this feature on the Forefronts. Just ordered a Redwood pair 😍🤙🏻
Tradesman !

Can't seem to find it but I know there's a paint-on material to protect the toe cap

I ordered a cap toe to deal with that. I did give up the hard toe, however.

I've never seen so much glue used to make a sewn boot. How do they breathe when every piece is coated with glue?

Прекрасно, маладес
I would be 1st in line for a pair of Romeos with a smooth, no mark sole. Please
What happens to the nails?
