Horses for corses if you excuse the pun....put the 1st Civic against the Mustang on our English A and B roads and the Mustang would of been blown into the weeds but those massive straight roads of America, you just need lots of power and torque to win, so the civic did ok, considering its 4 cylinders and 3 Litres down on the Mustang.... Those new 5.0s sound awesome at high rpm. I drove a 2011 Mustang and I drove to the dealer in my ls1 ws6. I kept shifting at 6k and then noticed it went to 7k lol. I was so used to shifting earlier in the ls1.
Why cammed camaros do that? They always seemed to be neck to neck, but then it gets that all of the sudden speed. I never understood it even in my own camaro.
Johnny Castanon n/a on the ls3 and l99 is a 5-15 rwhp gain with e. On the new 6th gen and s550 coyotes ive seen upwards of 30rwhp with e. But not anywhere the gains of a boosted application.

I think it was an automatic based on the stall converter, so he just mashed the pedal so the gear wasn't up to him, unless I misread.
