@@retroshift1240 With everything going on, it's nice to comment on people doing good things and being good people. Don't be the guy to hate on their comment.
It's amazing how a big macho guy can be a loving and caring Mr. Mom to a small animal. I bet he will make a great dad to his own child one day! đ

Who else loves the sad start and happy ending
Half the time i start to choke up at the sad start.dont tell nobody!
You're mom
Thank you for saving Waddles!!! She's a beauty.
I have a1 eyed Pilgram goose I have raised from a week old imprinting is an amazing and strong thing and that lasted their entire life. He just turned 7 years old June 2022 Gooseberry is is my baby and loves me now as much as he did as a gosling. He has his own flock of ducks, loves his mama and is jealous of her dad being close to me. It's a bond I have never had before not even in humans. I wouldn't trade this special bond for anything ever. Pilgram geese can fly short distances I taught him how, now in cool weather he has a special call when he wants me to fly with him, he will only fly with me.
It's absolutely sad to see that she just learned how to fly but then her wing had to be amputated. I'd be devastated if I were him but, life is life, doesn't always go your way
on the plus side, he may have previously worried that she might fly away and then he wouldn't know if she's ok anymore.
SIGH.
âiâm not leaving you Waddles!â
saves Waddles again
