  • In this video I show the pysanky pattern in the March 21st class. The pattern is repeated on a Peahen Egg!

It is such a beautiful egg. The colors are so awsome, very, very nice!. The stars look like patchwork stars. I'm a quilter and the pattern look so great!❤ Love them!

I'm quite a beginner. How do you hide your pencil marks at the end? Mine are showing through my yellow and white.

I try to draw very lightly. Sometimes I use a blue lead, ir seems to come off easier. But if you still gave lines at the end, you can put wax over them and melt it off, sometimes that will help. You can also use a tiny amount of goo-gone or mineral spirits. In this case I put a couple drops on a tissue and gently roll the egg in it. I hope this helps.

@Crystal Potthoff will that take pencil off even if it is under yellow dye?
Do you remove any of your pencil before dying? I've looked at your stenciling and I have drawn much lighter and still have it show which is SO frustrating.
What type of blue pencil do you use?

@Raquel Rachkewich it should take off lines, even under yellow, but you never know. I use a 0.5m Pentel brand for the blue lead.
