- In this video I share how I adapted a quilt pattern for use on a goose egg. I already practiced the division on a couple of chicken eggs and each time I drew out this pattern, it got a little easier.

haven’t heard of the freezer method.
is this a specific method bc it’s a goose? (haven’t been able to find a goose egg myself)
I use the freezer method sometimes when the egg is having trouble taking dye, this often helps achieve better results. Also, when I etch it does sometimes create issues and the freezer keeps the dye from seeping into the inside. I use this method on all types of eggs, not necessarily goose.
I have bought goose eggs from "Eggshells to Dye For". Her inventory varies, but I've received very nice goose eggs from them.
