WITH SASHING. As you were laying it out, I was yearning for you to add the sashing. It makes it seem more "finished" in my humble opinion. This is such a grand pattern! It could be used with almost any layer cake and one could always change the color of thE sashing.

My son is dating a very sweet young lady from England, they are talking marriage both are to old for children but are very much in love, this would be the perfect quilt to make her for Christmas as their are so many stained glass windows in England and that is where they plan on living 6months out of each year. I must say I love them both, but truly adore the one with the sashing. It looks like a stained glass window! Thank you Donna for sharing this amazing pattern with us❤

Gosh, Donna, you sure are the best quilter on CZcams! Never disappoint with great ideas and great teaching. And great camera and editing by your son! I really like both quilts. I think the first one tho, it’s not so blocked out. Your eye easily flows throughout the colors on the first one. Thanks!

Definitely sashing. :) What a lovely and approachable pattern. Thanks for another great video!

The quilt with the shashing is beautiful and like it best, but both are beautiful and probably would make both at some point in time.
