Today i'm making and decorating a mini journal i made from one sheet of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper.
The journal uses one 12 x 12 sheet with no waste and i used papers from the Stsmperia Wonderland collection to decorate it.
I'll be showing you how i make it and taking you through the complete process of decorating it from start to finish in a complete step by step tutorial.

I have learned so much from you. Some simple things that make my crafting so much easier. Turn the corner thingy upside down so you can see if the corner is in all the way. Same for the circle cutter. Turn it upside down! So simple and it never occurred to me.
If I need to bring my blood pressure down I watch one of your videos. You make me smile and laugh. And I always learn something new - bonus!!

I raised 4 two girls and two boys and the teenage years are a challenge because they think they are smarter than we are lol , but take heart because once they are grown and have their own children they will call you and say how sorry they are for all they put you through and what a great parent you were lol I don’t have a cat but we took in a rescue dog we named him Lucky and he looks a me all the time as to say “ok I just about have you trained human! Another gorgeous journal Julie. I use an old fashioned needle threader to put beads onto ribbon or seam binding. Put the wire bit of the needle threader through the bead, then your ribbon through the wire,then pull the threader out and voila! I find this much easier than using a needle. Hope this helps 💕

Maybe a needle treader will work to pull seambinding through the charm - those flat mettal piece with the wiry diamond shape attathed to the metal plate. Love your waffle and love your art.

Ohhh I like this project a lot! I just did a similar one, but smaller, that septeria demonstrated. BTW, I just found her yesterday and I LOVE her almost as much as I love you, Julie, and I've done 3 of her projects, already!! I need to find her paper, though ..it is so happy and cheerful! While we are on the subject of paper, you make me so jealous of your beautiful papers, especially your Timmy papers and I wonder why they are soooo difficult to get ahold of over here across the pond? Makes my little crafty heart sad. 😅 Anyway, I just did one of your projects from March 2023, this morning...it was 4 things out of one 12*12, and they turned out so beautiful...although I have paper envy. 😂 I LOVE your channel and will need to do this project soon...thanks for sharing your talent and humour with us and bless you and your family. ❤ It was sweet hearing your girls playing in the garden. ❤

Just lovely. Such fun to watch. You might try using a needle threader to attach charms or beads. Put it through the bead/charm, then run the fabric or thread through the threader and gently pull it through. Has worked for me.

For as long as I've been watching YT, this was my first craft-along because I just had to try this one out. Thin enough to tuck in a journal, and substantial enough to stand alone, maybe for happy mail. I was doing great until I couldn't remember where I'd put my eyelets, but all is well now and I'm off to decorate. Thanks for a fun project.

Love this paper pad so much, I bought two! That was over a year ago and I still haven’t gotten the courage to do a project with them. You’re so right to showcase Stamperia’s practice of making the inside of the front & back covers usable - it’s a great little feature. This little journal was just perfect, Julie! You may have given me the courage I needed to dive in to those beautiful papers. The dragonfly was the selling point for me…so gorgeous!
They are gorgeous aren't they April. I recently had some of the newer collection bought for me by a friend and after using some of those I had a look through my hoarded ones and this one is one of my favourites☺️🤗💜

Love this (as usual!), love Gertrude getting in on the act too! Am I the only one who hates fussy cutting? I try and get my husband to do it (well I have to make him feel useful!). Doo lally tried that over here in Canada and they didn’t know what I was talking about lol! They also don’t get that tea is not just a drink but an evening meal and dinner is lunch. Oh my. I do love this journal. So so pretty. I want to make this one out of my lilacs paper. I’m about to start a spring journal with many rabbits in it. Lol. I love rabbits. Gayle Agostinelli just did a rabbit journal. She has a huge suitcase called her “bunny suitcase”. I do love all the rabbits in it. I’m obsessed. This was a great journal. Then you added the pocket and that gorgeous card on the front and then it was drop dead gorgeous. Hugs, treen 💕💕💕

June 22nd, I just looked for the paper on Amazon, nope, but eBay has it 😁
I’m beginning to think I have an addiction to beautiful paper 😂 Sometimes I don’t want to cut up & use them, which is rather silly 😂
I make the celebration cakes for close family and at the parties people will say they don’t know how I can cut it when they took so much work. I always it’s cake, it’s made to make the child happy and to be eaten (I don’t like cake & apart from sugar I’m allergic to it)
But I can’t use the same logic when it comes to paper 🤷🏼♀️ Though I doubt my stomach would appreciate me eating paper 😂 now I’m thinking about paper cuts in my mouth 😂….at times I start thinking about something random and wonder how the heck I got to that thinking or online 😂
I like to use the front papers for tags & things, it would kill me to just bin it! An Amazon order came, my partner unpacked it, carefully folded up the scrunched brown packing paper 😂 He knows I’ll use it 😁
If I’ve thought it was too crumpled to use and I couldn’t be bothered to get the iron & board out I’ve used my straighteners on it 😂

The easiest way I find to put charms onto jump rings and then thread the jump rings through the hole into material. 😄

Love this little one-sheet journal. By-the-by, I find using a jump-ring on those charms that have such small holes works nicely.

I love this and that paper pack which I had been looking at on amazon a while ago. That Gertrude doesn't seem to know much about what you are doing...lol! It is always a joy to watch your videos and I am going to make one of these for sure!
Gertrude is clueless Lisa. She's like that old aunt sat mumbling in the corner at get togethers. Says nothing worth hearing, but we love her anyway as she's old and we're so used to having her there😅☺️🤗💜

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but, Margreth over at Sevenplaza had a fantastic way of putting a bead on a something that you can't get through the hole - use a needle threader, but put it through the bead first then put the string/seam binding through the threader and pull it through the bead. I don't know if it would've worked here, but I just thought I'd mention it.
