Oh yeah, they were fast but nowhere near factory though, think COPO or Yenko. Doors were acid dipped. Trunk, hood&fenders were fiberglass or any comforts like A/C, radio&carpet etc. Factory Hemi's were street spec w/ 10.25:1 compression, these were 12.50;1 & 1/4 mile time 10.30 sec. And technically weren't street legal either but didn't stop some 😏😎

Once again you seem bound and determined to insult hardcore car guys with your ignorant AI/computer voice instead of using a narrator. 1:29 you say it's distinctive because you call it a "hee-mee" instead of the correct "heh-mee." 3:23 & 3:57 Another video where an Oldsmobile 4-4-2 is called a four hundred and forty two. 4 barrel carbs, 4 speed Manual 2 racing pipes-there is no hundred anywhere in that name. It is not called a U30 it is a W30. 4:23 Pon-"tee"-ack, not Pon-chick, not Pontick. 6:15 -Cam-AIR-oh, not cam-arrow, 6:20 nor Chem-er-oh, nor 7:36 Kum-ahr-oh - the accent is on the 2nd syllable. At 9:00 Um, what weighs between 29-45 pounds??? please tell you don't think that's the torque.

LMAO I have a 4-4-2 and you wouldn’t believe how many people actually try to argue with me that it’s not original because it doesn’t have a 442 cid motor in it. I leave them to their ignorance, but yeah dropping the dashes in between the numbers confuses people.
