I retired from General Motors Design Staff Corvette program, and this guy says so many inaccurate things that I had to give it a thumbs down. He didn't know that the L88 was a race car and then stated that the L89 was an aluminum engine when it was only aluminum cylinder heads. Worst Corvette post that I have see.

I'm not a Vette guy - but enough of a car guy to recognize this is a sorely screwed up presentation. Might've gotten a pass if his information was based on actual magazine articles from the day (still not accurate).
Half the stuff on utube is cut n paste AI generated inaccurate garbage. This channel was just started in Jan this year.

The 1969 ZL-1 Corvette does not have the L88 427 engine, it has the ZL-1 aluminum cylinder block 427 engine. Many more of these engines were installed in 1969 ZL-1 Camaros than the Corvette.
Zl1 had an all aluminum engine.
The l88 was iron block aluminum heads.
Didn't mention any of the Zora duntov rotory mid engine vettes...😢

I just bought a base model 2006 it cost me 2,000 to fix the gas gage they had to take hafe tha car apart to put the new parts in it.

The 63/64 Grand Sport cars were supposed to be destroyed but we're sold off and campaigned by Roger Penske and others with the 6.2 engine and layer with the mystery 427.

There were only 4 1954 Corvettes that were painted Black from the factory. One of our Corvette Club members has one of the 4. Rick Hendrick also has one.

The Rondine is one of the most beautiful cars ever devised. Every time I see it appear, I wonder why a special production run wasn't considered. Pininfarina produced a masterpiece.
