Using terrain to make a move on a flock of fighting turkeys

After a couple of set ups we found a group of vocal birds mid morning. Since the woods are still very open, we hopped in a ditch and used it to get close to the birds. Once we got there we watched a large group of jacks fighting with a couple of longbeards. At one point we could have shot one of the longbeards but didn't really want to end the show, so we watched until they moved on and then we slipped out empty handed. It was great hunt, and you don't always have to kill one in order to have a successful hunt.
