Adam talking about Roman Josi winning the Norris trophy in 2020 was like some kind of sleeper agent activation code for me because I CLEARLY remember the guys doing some kind of awards predictions and Adam called Josi's season disappointing. It was such an off base remark that several of us in the comments speculated that he was confusing him for another player.

I’ve had a (joke) theory that McDavid’s only intention this season has been to rack up assists passing to Hyman so that Hyman scores 60+ and beats Matthews for the Rocket.
Thus proving McDavid is the more dominant player because he can make a workman type like Hyman more proficient at scoring than Matthews 😆
Good show! I love Fantasy stuff and i do encourage to have more segments about it on the show, maybe even in the bonus episode. At least imo it's always fun to hear about it and judge Steve's choices.

I'd go one further than Steve's suggested ejection for banging on the glass if there's a player's face up against it - I think banging the glass should be banned completely. If you're a grown adult hammering on the glass like a furious toddler, you need to go home and consider how you present yourself in public.
It happened probably a decade ago, but Steve did actually get an NHL headline before! It was something about the Oilers, the headline was Oil Change, and he said it then changed his answer. He yelled "NOOOOOO" just like he did here!

Hah, more like "Roll Up The Rim To Nothin'" these days. Used to be, back in my day, you'd get an actual cup with a rollable rim, and you'd win a coffee or a donut every fourth or fifth roll. In terms of police involvement with on ice incidents, I’m super surprised the Marty McSorley stick swinging assault on Donald Brashear didn’t immediately come to mind, given that you’re discussing a stick swing. The difference is that when McSorley did it, he two-handed that stick so hard into Brashear’s head that when he collapsed, he had a seizure on the ice and a grade 3 concussion. McSorley was suspended indefinitely, and was found guilty in criminal court for assault with a weapon but didn’t have to serve any prison time. The game was in 2000 and was against the Bruins and Canucks. And I’m pretty sure that was the end of McSorley’s career, actually.
During the discussion of the wizards jersey Steve mentioned “that’s a logo you submit as a joke”, that’s something that actually happens all the time. I’m a designer and it’s somewhat common place for designers to add in a throwaway logo to make the design that the team/designer is actually shooting for look that much better. The problem is, sometimes the idiots in charge will actually pick the throwaway one.
For the Ovi hat, wait for goal 906, take the VI (6 in roman numerals) and go with 9OVI. You're welcome!

Playing in a pick up game, I got a tooth cracked all the way to just above the root, where the dentist used a paste that when dried with UV light becomes attached to the tooth and is porcelain i think. Funny enough two weeks later i got the same tooth hit with a follow through on a pass in a men's league game and had to do it again. Teeth taste like chalk.

Technically the Avs didn't keep Makar out of the NHL until he was 21. He debut'd in the playoffs against San Jose in May 2019. So he would have played 2 years at Amhurst then gone to the NHL at age 20.
Maximum Domi would actually be awesome on the Caps playing on a line with Ovechkin. All offense, no defencse.

Ovechkin hat. Red hat. Front is his name Ovechkin with the 8 under it like the back of the jersey, offset it to the left just a bit with the 9 and 5 about half the size of the 8 so that the whole thing is centered.
