    As a TV calibrator, I would not recommend using "Color Temp = Standard" for movies; instead, "Warm" is suggested for intended picture accuracy (but I understand your personal choice). Nevertheless, you've done an excellent job as this non-specialised projector review, better than many specialised projector "reviewers" out there. Here's a tip: if you want to improve shadow details in dark movie scenes, increase Gamma (the first level "5" by 5 notches). You'll notice much more detail, especially in scenes like the one in Top Gun: Maverick with Tom Cruise and Ed Harris (USA flag behind him).
    Regarding the audio quality, some channels are missed, such as in the Fast X (tiny Taj vs Roman driving scene). However, with PJ in Theater mode, it should be okay. A soundbar like JBL 1300X and Samsung HW-990C might indeed improve clarity and surround effects.
    As you said , for the money, this is the PJ!
    Keep up the good work! Cheers.

      Thanks so much for the input. I really appreciate that and I can learn from this. I will definitely take it into consideration when reviewing the next projector.

    Has anybody had problem with red color on Hisense PX2-PRO?
    I've spent lots of time on adjusting with RGB gain and offset, but there are lots of issue with the re/orange color on the PX2-PRO.
    I'm going to return it because it's really annoying.

      To be honest, I took am a 3D fan. I wouldn't buy a projector which doesn't support 3D. Almost every new action movie has a 3D version out there and I no longer get DVDs, 3D movies are there if you know where to look.

    This or l9h

    • @AllThingsSportsMikeMcIntyre
      @AllThingsSportsMikeMcIntyre  Před 2 měsíci

      The obvious question is do you already have a screen? If not, the l9h provides you the chance to buy a package containing both projector and screen. Buying the px2, you are buying a more customizable machine

      @@AllThingsSportsMikeMcIntyre oh ok. I don’t have a screen yet. I need a comparison video lol.

      @LouArtillery i don’t have an l9 to compare too. However the machines are very similar. The px2 allows for a larger screen or smaller screen size and has a few more customizable features. Basically if you want the easy option go l9 but you want to dial in your setup than get your own screen and the px2
